Scientific Evolutionists like to think that if you take 20 million monkeys for 20 million years on 20 million typewriters
you can get Shakespeare. I believe if you take 20 million monkeys for 20 million years on 20 million typewriters
you will get 20 million pages of scientific gibberish. The critique that follows is about copy from just two of them.
“Don't wait for the movie”
Sam Harris' book “The End of Faith” and “Letters to a Christian Nation” as well as Richard Dawkins book “The
God Delusion” are making their rounds and discouraging some Christians. I have read all of these books and I
can tell you that when it comes to attacking our faith, these guys are beating anvils with bananas. Both are openly
atheistic and proud of it. Both want us to trust their reason which they call science but which is really defined as
philosophy. Sam Harris is a walking lexicon of theological and historical errors. With a nice demeanor and
sprachgefuhl language use that gives the appearance of intelligence, he does a good job of vilifying false
religions like Catholicism and Islam as if they were true Christianity. This is called “The Straw man Argument”. It's
like pointing to a motorcycle and attacking it as a terrible car.
Sam says that 'Mr. Christian, you know how stupid Islam sounds to you?' Well, he says, Christianity has
nothing more than that to go on. From that opening gambit you can see there is no need to buy the book.
He forgets about the martyrs who died because they would not deny they saw Jesus come back alive, and the
66+ major prophecy's concerning Jesus' life that were written 400 years before he arrived ...incidentally, that
Mohammad doesn't have. He forgets about the miracles that Jesus performed in full view of people who could
have publicly denied the “Gospel Accounts” had it not been true. Mohammad has zip. Nada. Except his
unwitnessed flight to the moon and back on his half horse Barak. Sam forgets that prominent people with
everything to lose, including their lives, followed Jesus. Luke was a Doctor, Paul was a Colonel, Peter was a
commercial fisherman, Matthew was a rich tax collector. All of them had good paying jobs that others would
probably kill for... yet Sam wants us to think they gave it all up to follow and spend all that time writing about some
lunatic....or worse yet, someone who did not exist? All this in a time where writing was not an easy task. At a time
when, ask Socrates, the world didn't like one messing with the status quo. Why would these writers have
bothered? In contrast, Mohammad's followers had everything to lose, including their lives, if they didn't follow
Mohammad. In other words, the following of Islam increased by the sword, but Christianity flourished in spite of it.
Christian men allowed themselves and their families to be fed to lions because they saw and knew something that
was real. Jesus came back to life. In fact there is better circumstantial evidence that Jesus was here then, than
there is that Sam Harris is here today. Sometimes circumstantial evidence is better than eyewitness accounts....
and you better believe that circumstantial evidence will convict you in court. Two eyewitnesses go to bed and
never see the snowfall yet in the morning there is circumstantial white stuff on the ground. Which evidence do you
think is stronger for the snowfall? We have Biblical and extra biblical writings. A resurrection that changed our
worship day from Saturday to Sunday. We have eyewitnesses who died rather than deny what they saw in Jesus.
No buried body found because he ascended. Miracles that nobody denied. Unlikely people whose lives were
changed against all pressure to remain as they were. Our redeemer lives!
Continuing to mimic Sam's straw man argument, when Richard Dawkins isn't just quoting from Sam Harris, he
points out that Hitler was a Catholic. Like Sam and Dave co-wrote songs together, Sam and Dick should have just
written one book, “I'm Not a Soul Man” would have been plenty. These guys try to blame so many things on
Christians it is hard to know why we haven't all been arrested. It is no different than me attacking medicine
because there have been snake oil salesmen. He curses our loving God for ordering the annihilation of false god
societies in the Old Testament. What he fails to note is that many of these Molech types deserved annihilation.
They had multiple opportunities to follow God's examples, yet they chose to continue killing their own children!
Hmmm, does that bring anything to mind? Anyway, he writes about all the bad things done by religions like the
inquisition, the (pre-reformation-and-therefore-non-evangelical, I might add) crusades, burning of heretics, the
Albigensian and Huguenot murders, suicide bombers, 911, and so on. I couldn't agree more. If I remember
correctly, Sam left out a couple that I might help him with....the blood transfusions refused by the Jehovah's
Witnesses and the medical treatments refused by the Christian Scientists. So what is all of this against Protestant
Christianity..... in many cases we were the very ones killed! And if'n you'll notice, when these Catholic strawmen
actually went public and their followers actually read and went by The Book, they stopped all that nonsense. Was
Martin Luther involved in this brutality? Huss? Wycliffe? Zwingli? Knox? Bonhoeffer? Quakers? The very worst
you can find from the evangelical camp is the makeup on Tammy Faye Baker! Okay maybe we have had a few
snakes....but even those guys are dying out. And Okay, Calvin burned one heretic....and yes we did a couple of
witches in. A handful. OK I'M SORRY! But anything we did, including Tammy Fayes makeup, was against the
teachings of the Bible....what the other religions did agrees with their doctrines....a big difference. Yet Harris side
steps the malicious destruction of infamous atheists over the years. Let's see, wasn't it the atheist Mao Se Tung
who massacred those warmongering Buddhists or was it the Billy Sunday and the Billy Graham gang? Consider
Kim Il Sung, the Pennsylvania Mennonite Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot the pentecostal, Idi Amin the Christian cannibal,
and Castro and Che .... if you add it all up, these atheists alone killed more in one century than all the religions
over all the centuries combined! ....and if Hitler was not-so-much a Catholic, as I suspect, but was really more in
Richard Dawkin's unbelievers camp, then at least a few “nanny nanny boo boo's” and “I told you so's' are in order
against his so called “God Delusion”. But! If we are talking about those brutal Onward Christian Soldiers then we
should also count the destruction caused by those pre Christ evangelicals (not) like Alex the Great, The Ceasars,
Ghenghis Khan, and various other tin horn non Judeo Christians throughout history. Even the critics of Napoleon
argue that his true legacy was a loss of status for France and many needless deaths: After all, the military record
is unquestioned—17 years of wars, perhaps six million Europeans dead, France bankrupt, her overseas colonies
lost. Haiti has still never recovered. Compare that to the destruction caused by the famous preacher Dwight
Moody. Compare that with what atheistic authors, philosophies, and books (like Machiavelli, Nietzsche, Marx,
Hollywood, video games, Mine Campf, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion) are still doing for humanity today,
Dawk. These are your Brothers in arms!
....and what's your problem with the Christian Ideal anyway?
Show me the “Atheist Purse” that takes 170,000 shoe boxes to the Children of Santo Domingo like the “Samaritan
Purse” did this year, or provided survivables to the victims of the December Tsunami. And when a Methodist
Church was initially moving 2000 carloads of supplies into Katrina per day, where was the Madelyn Murray O'Hair
effort? A-present? Sure, there are good secular groups like Doctors Without Borders, but even many of their
members are religious. Even a Rock n roll star like Bono can muster some heart when he claims to be religious....
but where are the Michael Newdow Atheist Charities in Sudan, India, or Haiti? I have personally been to Haiti and I
haven't seen any evidence of any Harris-Dawkins feed the children fund.
Furthermore, whether you realize it or not, the Bible actually described, if not produced the systems we enjoy
today. Fair judges, twelve tribes represented (senate), Kings that follow the law instead of the opposite, testate
laws for women, circuit courts (Moses father in law taking some of his cases), even the Post office was not from
Ben Franklyn as you've been told.... but check out the book of Esther (3:13). The military draft was from the book
of Numbers. Taxes were first in 1 Samuel 8:15ff. The very idea of helping the poor while asking them to work (2
Thess 3:10). Rent and credit came from the Jews....and probably capitalism from the Jewish pale(ghettos). And
although Dawkins tries to claim that the Christian Martin Luther King learned his peaceful non resistance from
Mahatma Ghandhi, he doesn't mention that Ghandhi publicly admitted that he learned it from Jesus! Jesus also
elevated the status of women. The only thing I remember that atheism produces is ahopeism.
Furtherfurthermores, these guys charge Christianity with slavery. First they like to charge that Thomas
Jefferson was not a Christian when it comes to fathering our country and then they charge him as a Christian who
accepted slavery. However, slavery was a different thing in Jesus' day. It was not racist in that all people groups
were slaves. In fact, some people sold their own families into slavery in order to buy food or pay off debts. When
the contract was over, or on Jubilee year, they were released. By the Bible, Christians are rarely to rebel against
the law, slave laws or otherwise, but are instructed to live peaceably within it. Sam should note that at the time of
Christ, it wasn't the Christians who were in charge, but the Romans. Slavery was a Roman law. By the same token
accusations as these atheists use, Christianity will be charged in the future with permitting abortion! The atheists
don't like to talk about that. And if practiced correctly, Christianity would have stopped all discrimination at
Galatians 3:28. It just wasn't paid attention to because of too many people like these guys who don't have the
Spirit of God nor understand his love letter to us. Philosophically, it is Atheism that promotes survival of the
fittest.....and therefore slavery.....as well as misogyny. The fact is that Christianity was a prime mover in the
stopping of slavery from appealing to hearts beginning with Philemon 16. Later, the conversion of slave master
John Newton, during peril at sea, influenced William Wilberforce toward abolitionist ideals that successfully
stopped slavery in England. Not to mention that it was Newton who wrote the flagship song of Christianity,
“Amazing Grace”. Obviously a non Christian, huh? Then the American John Sullivan Dwight reflects much of what
our country felt at least ten years before the Civil War, Dawk, when he penned the third verse to “Oh Holy
Night”.....Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother; And in His name all oppression shall cease. All of
these guys who stopped slavery sure sound like atheists, huh? The Southern Baptists and other Christian groups
publicly apologized for any part they played in slavery..... yet I haven't heard any statements from the atheist
community apologizing for their roles....even though I'll bet Sam and Dick don't believe their atheist buddies
played any role in it at all. I'll bet if the truth could be found, it would be atheistic and false religions hearts who
designed and kept slavery, while the hearts of Christians had to abide with it. But I guess we can't forget that the
Civil Rights movement was fueled and fought by atheistic thought....that's why all those activists call themselves
Reverends and met in churches.
Richard Dawkins refluxes much of the same things that Harris does, and it is nothing new. I was thinking that
Dawkins must have something really good if he is disproving Christianity. But not so! There is no evidence in his
book of incontrovertible fossils. There is no evidence that someone like Shakespeare wrote the Bible and it is
really a fraud. There is no evidence that overcomes the statistical improbabilities against the random coming
about of such things as DNA or the fine tuning of our universe. Basically, his 'evidence' is that he just doesn't like
Christianity and he wants to tell us. That's why he won't debate creationists publicly....he's got nothing! And since
the fanaticism of Islam has shown its butt, and then blown it to pieces, all of these wannabe anti Christs have
come out of the wood work because Satan thinks it is a good time to strap Christianity onto the same mule and
beat it. Nevertheless, Dawkins introduces his book by referring us to different chapters for different Atheist
concepts ...like quick links....so naturally, I went to them:
- Chapter one evidently proves there is no God by proving Einstein was an atheist. Or a theist, or a deist or at
least a NOMAist as Steven J Gould calls it. Evidently they are not really sure what he was....an
aTheeDeeNomaist! But Dawkins mentions this because he wants to give the idea that modern scientists with any
brains at all do not believe in God. Yet with all of their suppression, please check out the long list of creation
scientists at http://www.answersingenesis.org/Home/Area/bios/ . Also, at the same place, look at the historical list
of scientists like Isaac Newton who, not just philosophized about the world, but actually accomplished something.
Then look at the short list of atheists. (These lists are much too large to paste in this column). In fact Henry Morris
has written an entire book of more than 100 of the most famous historical scientists who believed the Bible, “Men
of Science, Men of God”. If you would also include the Jewish believers who were inventors, the “believers” list
of Nobel deservees would surely be in the 90+ percentile. Even Hitler called quantum physics “Judaphysiks”
because of the Jews dominance of it. Not only in science, but “Belief” produced exemplary leadership in troubled
times... such as George Washington.... and many explorers were also men of God. Even though Ferdinand
Magellan questioned the Catholic church, the survivors of his circumnavigating crew thought it necessary to go to
Rome to sort out the problem of unknowingly passing through the time zone and missing mass and Easter, and
Christmas. Hardly unconcerned atheists. I can prove that Voltaire and the French “enlightenment” was not
against God but against the corrupt Catholic church and Royal wastefulness. (See article on Catholicism)
- Chapter two proves there is no God because Dawkins can't understand the trinity. He has math problems
understanding one substance of God in three separate and distinct personalities. Science now teaches that
electrons can be in two places simultaneously but evidently a God that created them cannot be in three. It
teaches multi phantom universes or multi verses where other copies of people live. (But I'll bet if you called any
one of them “heaven” you would be laughed out of Oxford). Yet, when you put H2O at 0 degrees and apply the
right pressure (230ml), you get steam, water, and ice crystals at the same time. One substance....three separate
and distinct personalities. We call it water. Review the basics occasionally Mr. Dawkins. Can Dark Energy or the
Strong/weak/gravitational/electromagnetic forces be in three places? Yes. Can heat, radiation, and light emanate
from one source and yet be simultaneously in three and then separate places? Hint: Call a friend......sunlight.
Consider your own book ....one argument with at least three separate and distinct contradictions.
- Chapter three is a stumbling block to Dawkins because he doesn't believe the Gospel accounts.....but goes on
to say that other Gospels should have been included. That's confounding enough....but he continues. He tries to
state how the Gospel accounts colluded ...and yet disagreed....especially if you include the gnostic Gospel of
Thomas and others. That would be like putting snake oil in the medical manuals and saying the medical manuals
copied the snake oil manuals and then disputed them. With statements like these, are you, the pot, still calling
your book the “The God Delusion”, Mr Dawkins? Unlike scientific manuals over the ages (see the Merck
below)...... Mr. Dawkins, we just don't let that kind of stuff occur in our Christian Book. It is your scientists of
today.....that collude to deny creationism but behind the press disagree on every statement any single one of
them ever made! Just give me one indisputable fossil that proves evolution....just one....was a question one
scientist asked all over the world... and no one gave one! Sometimes scientists even end up disagreeing with
themselves. The lovable Stephen Hawkins, yet the John Kerry of science, spent thirty years proving “Black Holes”
just before he disproved them. The age of the earth, the beginning of the universe, the extinction of dinosaurs,
the plate tectonic theory, global cooling and now warming, etc. ad infinitum. No theory sticks more than a few
years. Yet you want me to forget God and put my faith in your so called science just because you don't
understand the Trinity, Mr. Dawkins?
- Chapter Four says that God needs a designer himself because he is so complex. Finally, this is a legitimate
argument. From everything we know, every effect needs a first cause. But then he ruins his own argument by
describing our God as an old white bearded man sitting on a falsely elevated throne somewhere.....and fresh out
of ideas. Look around you Dawkins, that would be Charles Darwin. More Strawman arguments. He likes to repeat
this throughout his book.... more properly the Dawkins Delusion. He should read the ideas of his famous scientific
colleague Kurt Godel who in effect said that one has to be outside of the box in order to understand the box. We
agree. This is what we Christians have always said about our God.... Dawk.... He is bigger than the box. Not a
white bearded man-god. An Awesome God. Omni this and that....everlasting to everlasting. But it's true that
everything should have a first cause which God does not. Yet God tries to explain it to us... even if we don't
comprehend it fully... when he says that He is the Alpha and the Omega and therefore not bounded by time. So
we will have to give Dawkins this point....God does not have a designer. But if we will just accept this one
incongruity and swallow the gnat, then we have ALL of the other answers of the universe provided to us. Yet if we
give Dawkins the same courtesy and accept that the Big Bang also had no one to create the material either,......
he still has to swallow a camel and answer all the other questions like: what lit the proverbial fuse, how come there
is so much balance in our universe, where did we come from, and how did life start, how did it evolve, how did
science become so scared and riddled with propaganda, why does the Bible call atheists fools, etc. etc.
Then in the chapter that is supposed to completely shatter our idea of God, Dawkins ends up proving God's
existence even further! He starts telling us things like how we have ended up in so perfect an orbit that saves us
from extreme heat and ice that it could not have been God's idea. The Goldy Locks orbit. Go figure that? Random
Chance? We evolved into such an orbit? Me thinks not. But let me help him argue further: if we had only 3
percent more oxygen in our atmosphere we couldn't put out fires....and 3 percent less and we couldn't burn them
....and we all evolved that random number for oxygen content? Gimme a break! The fact that water is the only
liquid that expands when it freezes was just luck for us. Got it? The only liquid. Oil and other liquids contract. That
expansion permits it to displace more water and thus float on top of lakes and streams. Otherwise, it would sink to
the bottom and fill up the lakes and streams and kill all the fish. Just a coincidence? Check out the bombadier
beetle or the timing of the palolo worm. Tell me how our blood knows how, where, and how much to coagulate
when we are cut but not when we are not? Tell me how 15,000 pieces of the eyes came together during evolution
when just one gate, one synapse, one nerve, one lens not absolutely perfect on the first run would have our
whole species walking off an unseen cliff? Although it is confusing why your feet smell and your nose runs, why
wasn't the eye on your knee instead of guarded by brows, bone structures, and noses that just happened to be
there? And why wasn't the other eye on your foot instead of stereo for depth perception? Evidently our God just
isn't smart enough to connect all these dots, but the no-god of Evolution somehow fine tuned the universe to such
a standard that we humans have escaped such fragilities, anyone of which could kill us, that are incorporated in
effects from radiation, gravity, the strong force, electromagnetism, air and water supply, photosynthesis, sunlight,
heat, position to black hole stars, not too much heavy metals-not to much gaseous planet, immunology, ultraviolet
and infra red light, poisonous gasses, fission and fusion, tides and oceans, and until now....the inability to not
think. Athinkism.
- Chapter Five introduces us to the holy spirit of Darwinism when he claims that if we will accept “natural selection”
then it will raise our consciousness and make us a smarter, better people. Dr. Michael Behe raised my
consciousness when he destroyed Darwinism with his irreducible complexity theory put forth in his book Darwins
Black Box. Dawkins, who never read Romans 1, tries to figure out why the “Misfire” genetics of religious thought
has been “naturally” selected for permanence...... ...maybe.... because there is a God? Even in the language we
have words like “selected” above, that are like, well, verbs that require action....but from who or what? Who or
what “selected”? He tells how genes that replicate easily are better chosen for future replication? Chosen? As in
chosen ....like with Intelligence? How did the zipper of DNA come together exactly right with billions of connections
(from 4 different zipper teeth so to speak) that had to be right or the whole zipper would not zip up into life? If one
says amino acids decide the arrangement, then how in the world does the amino acids know how to arrange the
DNA? Do they have brains? No. No matter how far down you go and whatever label you give it, at the bottom of it
all there is intelligence. He tries to portray religion as the misfire or crutch of the world. I submit that religion and
God are the normal standard and it is his atheism that is the crutch used to escape the judgment of a sinful
lifestyle. The Atheism Delusion. Not the God Delusion. Then he again argues for creation when he starts with
symbiotic “deals”.....where two separate evolutionary chains such as the hummingbird and the long tubed red
flowers need each other to survive and propagate. He thinks they made some genetic deal like “You feed me and
I'll help plant you”.....he evidently misses the point where these two could not possibly have evolved together in
the life chain. He misses the point also where the flower at least would have to have intelligence or at least an
intelligent operator to make such a deal. He misses many points. Then, I assume Dawkins tries to assert that God
is a delusion because Dawkins has received threatening and vulgar letters from people who disagree with
him..... 'Earth to Dawkins': many people passionately disagreeing with you is not an argument in your favor. An
old Arabic proverb says that if one or two call you a jackass don't worry about it....but if three do...then buy
yourself a saddle.
- And yada yada ad infinitum
These guys laugh at Christians who use their personal money to help others, and who believe Jesus, who was the
only one who has ever beat death, ... but they have no problems believing in parallel universes or chasing aliens
and UFOs around the galaxy with absolutely no evidence....all on your tax dollars! According to these guys we are
ruining our brains as well as science because we are not atheistic scientists. Don't get me wrong.....I used to
believe in science that is provable....as decided by the scientists themselves. But because of their lies, no more.
Now I believe in science that is provable under the direction of the Holy Spirit....who will not lead me wrong in the
long run. Shall we look at some of the popular so called scientific “facts” over the ages?
- Transpermia migration, The late Francis Crick 1916-2004, founder of DNA and brilliant molecular biologist,
realizing that it was just too impossible for the chirality’s of DNA to have formed without an intelligent director, yet
denied that God was that director. This is equivalent to seeing a library and then denying there is such a thing as
an author. His alternative was to accept the Hoyle/Paul Davis’ theory that essentially Martian alien DNA seeds
propagated earth and were designed to grow. This theory was formulated not from evidence, but from
assumptions drawn from the fact that bacteria had been found deep in the earth that survived by eating oil in
extreme conditions (thus called extremophiles), and because they found that Mars could have had life sustaining
water. This theory is still subscribed to by many of his colleagues today. When it was reported that a French team
had cloned a baby in 2001, they, having studied his work, naturally echoed his beliefs. Martians seeded the earth.
Even if this were true, it doesn’t answer, but only juxtaposes the question to a different place and time in the
universe… “Where then did the Martian aliens come from (and why didn't they survive)”? I said Crick was a
brilliant molecular biologist, but he was a terrible theologian and cosmologist. Since he is now recently deceased
and before God, I respectfully believe Crick is up a Creek without a theory and the aliens are sneaking across
the borders of the universe to write atheist books.
- “Spontaneous generation”: where maggots arose from decaying meat and rats were witnessed running from
trash piles. Which, at the time, proved beyond any doubt to scientists that life just sprang up from such.
Debunked by Louis Pasteur....a Christian.
- In 1899 the Merck published 100 methods to stop bronchitis... like drinking poisons. None of them actually
worked and today not one of them are accepted.
- smoking was good for your health, In the 1950’s scientists were recommending some brands of cigarettes
over others as being more effective for a long and healthier life.
- DDT is prohibited as bad while millions are dying from malaria. Just because one lady thought she got cancer
from it. This was disproven, and the inventor of DDT used to go around eating a bite of it in public just to prove it
was harmless to humans.
- Coffee is good, this.... and then coffee is bad, that....results depending on what each scientific studier had for
breakfast ....I assume....because everyone knows that the evidence always proves two opposites simultaneously.
- Remember what the best scientists of our day were saying about Y2K and the boukou money spent
because of their scientific evidence (such as government bunkers)? I admit, I believed them myself...but I am
learning not to! It wasn't the first time. They claimed it at Y1K as well. By the way, did we get any of the money
back?
- University of Utah and laboratory fusion? Like evolution, It was just another scam.
- Geocentric universe
- Steady State theory
- “Number of Stars”; The scientists of the day Hiparchus at 150 BC said there were 1022 stars in the universe,
later Ptolemy laughed and claimed there were 1026 stars in the sky. Another ancient said there were 5000. The
Bible says they are …numerous as the sands of the seashore (Heb 11:12, Gen 22:17, Jer. 33:22, ). Which is
closer to the truth? And if you talk about an expanding universe, the Bible said it all along at IS 45:12, JER 10:12.
- “Life on other planets” and still chasing ufo’s. In 1900 the French Academy of Science offered 100,000
francs for the first person to make contact with aliens…..except not from the Planet Mars…..because they thought
aliens from Mars was an indisputable fact. Even today scientists are promoting space travel in hopes of finding
“intelligent life in outer space”. In 1967 Jocelyn Bell-Burnell of Cambridge, when hearing pulses from outer space
said that it was obviously coming from “Little Green Men”. Later it was found to be an orbiting pulsar broadcasting
…evidently without an FCC license. Now you know why the first pulsar is called LGM-1…..because of the dashed
hope of hearing Little Green Men. Many people think that aliens could very well be another form of demons and
demonic possession. All the fingerprints certainly match. Except for the existence of God and his created spirit
beings, I would bet my life that there is not intelligent life in space. Maybe not on earth. This world is coming to an
end and the Universe will be destroyed because of sin. Biblically, if there were life on other planets, they would be
unfairly destroyed even if they were never related to the guilt of Adam. I like space exploration, but I think it should
be explored simply for curiosity, technological advancements (latex was invented because of space technology),
and maybe even for fun or trans population. But intelligent life? They’ve got to be kidding. If you would like to
scramble a scientist’s cerebral salad, ask him to give you honest statistical odds comparing the possibility of life in
outer space with life in heaven. Then ask him which he expects to find first?
- In 2004 I heard on the radio where in the name of science the Air Force was granted $23,000 to test
psychic powers (not prayer) as a weapon. Not a huge some to be sure. Let’s hope the Air Force knows the
fallacy of it and just wanted to get the psychic lobbyists ( a great concept) out of their hair. If I were masquerading
as a psychic I would be smart enough to pocket their money and then say….” I can foresee that there will be no
psychic weapons in the future”…..after all, the only other option for a true psychic would be to describe the
weapon exactly. It’s like the psychics who used to work for the Psychic Hotline…..if any of them were really good,
they should have foreseen the bankruptcy that befell them. We used to get psychic mail arriving by post card at
the post office with wrong addresses. Why didn’t they know?

impossibly from outer space. Even Thomas Jefferson called two Connecticut finders of one “liars”.
- World Jump Day was to be held on 20 July 2006 at precisely 11.39.13 GMT. A group of German scientists said
that if everyone on the planet would have jumped at precisely the correct time that the orbit will be changed
enough to “stop global warming, extend daytime and produce a more homogeneous climate”…..only 600,000,000
jumpers were needed.
- In 1970 it was global cooling
......And you want me to put all of my trust in science Mr. Dawkins?
This is not to say that various Churches don't err, especially the false ones, or that both the Church and
science are in error together. But the actual Word of God does not err. In the late 1800’s soda water was
developed and then, almost by accident, Ice Cream was dumped into it and the Ice Cream Soda was born.
Science said the soda was healthy (which accounts for the initial soda shop sales in pharmacies). The Church
said the Soda water was an intoxicant and not to be drank on, or associated with Sunday. So the water faded
away and even the name was respelled from Ice Cream Sunday….to Ice Cream Sundae. Both the Church and
science were wrong ….but the Bible was not. Yes, partly because it didn’t speak directly about Ice Cream
Sundaes, but also, if the Church had read the book of Acts properly they would have realized the freedom God
granted us both to eat anything we wanted and to do good on the Sabbath.
When George Washington died, he had pneumonia, but he actually died because they had overleeched too
much blood from his body while treating the pneumonia. God knew. But it looks like somebody in science or the
Church would have read that verse in Leviticus that states “the life of the flesh is in the blood”. When science wins
it is always over church tradition or false teaching, not over the actual word of God.
When Lise Meitner was a little girl her Grandma told her not to sew on the Sabbath or the sky would fall….which
was a lie….to support a false doctrine. Lise took a needle and boldly touched the material on the Sabbath one
day….and then looked up to see. Nothing happened. She then sewed a few stitches and stopped to look up. Still
the sky didn’t fall. So she sewed all day and disproved her Grandma. A few years later she discovered nuclear
fission.
For example consider the Scientific Evidence Supporting a Young Earth
Today scientists like to make fun of “young earth” theorists by disregarding evidence of the young age of the
earth. As in the recent 2005 Kansas City Evolution hearings, they send somebody to ask you how old is the earth
so they can laugh at you. This is because macro evolutionists need large quantities of time to make it easier for
people to accept their ideas that complex life forms can evolve. As more irreducible complex life was realized,
scientists recognized that more time would be needed for people to believe their evolution. To survive, Giraffes
had to extended their necks to pluck fruit from the trees. The problem is that the Giraffe population would die
before it could evolve a long neck. They laughingly try to disparage every answer that isn't theirs at the moment.
However, their answer of the moment for the age of the earth was once less than a few thousand years old as
defended by Kepler and Pasteur. Then it became 100,000 years old as defended by “one” of the Fathers of
archaeology Geology Charles Lyell. Then Darwin thought that only 102 million years was needed. As recently as
the 1940’s textbooks taught as fact that only millions were needed. Then when uranium was found to decay it
went to 4.5 billion (They used the 4.5 billion figure because we have the element “lead”….and it takes that length
of time for uranium to decay to lead…..and since we have lead….it must be at least that old) where it remained
until the “facts” in the 1990’s became 5 billion, 6 billion, and 7 billion. Today, as much as 15 Billion are the facts.
This is quite a long way from the “facts” of the 1940’s. It should be noted also that an accuracy jump from 10,000
years old to 100,000 years old from the differing opinions of Christians throughout the ages is substantially
different than a jump from 5 billion to 6 billion as scientists are regularly doing today. If accuracy is anywhere
present in radiometric dating, scientists should be moving from 5 billion to maybe 5.002 billion.
In fact, it wasn’t so long ago that dates were found by circular reasoning. A paleontologist would find a fossil inside
a rock and look up the date of that rock in a rock book and postulate the same date of the fossil. Then a rock star
(geologist) would find a rock with the same type fossil inside and look in his fossil book and find it’s age and then
date the rock with the age of the fossil! The tail was chasing the dog!.
My best range for the age of the earth is much more specific and correct....it is somewhere between God's
birthday and mine. I will stake my life on it. Ask the scientist if he will stake his life on any scientific range.
Yet, there is plenty of evidence put forth by hundreds of notable scientists and their accumulated facts that
present a young earth. Young enough even to fit into the framework of the creation dates extruded from the Bible
(~10,000 years old). It’s entirely possible that a Creator created the world with some age built in. After all, the
Bible says he created grown up things, not seeds, or calves, or even children. Being fully grown must have
required some “age” things built in. Man had height. Why couldn’t the trees have rings? Why couldn't uranium
have lead built in by the Creator? Why not a built in age throughout the universe? Why not….because atheistic
science does not want any compromise that might sour their logic of a “no God”. They claim that such a God
would be “tricking” them and thus dishonest. I would counter that God was perfectly logical and honest in how he
arranged things and they have only tricked themselves away from Him. These 'scientific' dates keeps changing
because of continuous scientific problems that spring up like weeds in the Garden of Eden. For example, in 1995
Time magazine wrote about an unrefuted astronomer who determined that some stars were older than the
universe. Other seasoned astronomers who checked her math said she was correct. Go figure that. Since the
misnomer and further misinterpretation of “Separation of Church and State”, none of this young earth evidence is
ever taught or found in a public school textbook. Within a couple of generations, American courts have prevented
teachers from learning creation science and the only known alternative for them to teach is in a secular path. In a
true scientific inquiry, students should be taught all evidence and allowed to make their own choices. If we don’t
teach our children true geology, astronomy, cosmology, paleontology, molecular biology, and physics…..guess
who will teach them the counterfeit! And you can bet your Darwin Doll that it won’t include God. As it is, the
students will only learn, and then later teach the humanist evolution, big bang, and the required old earth theories
for evolution….who make new teachers who teach the same. Someone said “I can’t equally stand a Scientist that
cannot allow for a Creator nor a Theologian who cannot accept the obvious advances of science”. I know of a Dr.
Wang who is the head of a genetic research department of the NIH in Washington D.C. who says he knows there
is intelligent design. But he and others would not go so far as to call the intelligence God. Well, what else would
you call it that wouldn’t sound silly, “President”? True science and the true God come together as one. If the
premises seem to contradict….go with God. He has a perfect track record. Not necessarily the Church…..but the
Bible. Although evolutionists need a lot of time for evolution to be accepted, here are a few different earth age
theories that are never taught in school for your perusal:
1.There is an interplanetary dust which is produced by flyby meteors falling on all planets and moons. Dr.
Harold Slusher found the rate of deposit on our moon to be 14.3 million tons of dust per year. If the earth is 4.5
billion years old as per evolutionists then the thickness of dust on the moons surface should easily be 400+ feet
thick. Some scientist thought that the Apollo landing module would sink out of sight and so designed it to have big
“feet”. But when Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon he found the cosmic dust to have accumulated to a
staggering 3 inches deep! This could have been deposited in less than 8000 years and is much too thin for the
moon to be old.
2.The internal heat radiated from the moon is too much for the moon to be old. Thermodynamics proves that
heat moves away from hot bodies toward and into colder ones. Not counting the heat reflected from the sun, the
heat that is still on the moon proves its youth.
3.The moon is moving away from the earth too rapidly to be in the position it is now in. If it had been moving
away at the same rate for billions of years it would be farther away. In other words, working the moon backwards
for 4.5 billion years would have it's edge colliding with earth.
4.Extrapolating backwards over the years we find that the vast burning off of comets like Halleys would have
enlarged them to the size of Jupiter just 200 million years ago. Using billions of years would have these comets
larger than the sun at one time. Furthermore, what placed these comets in their present orbits billions of years
ago given their size? They would have collided with or burned up the earth as well as other heavenly bodies.
5.The temperature of the earth allows for a maximum age of 200 million years. If the earth was older than that
it would be much colder.
6.Many elements inside the earth would have spread out and diffused in just tens of thousands of years, but
this is not the case.
7.In billions of years some stars would have broken the gravity pull of their galaxy and spread out, but this
is not the case.
8.Saturn and Jupiter do not generate heat internally and yet they radiate more heat than they accept from
the sun. This indicates warm young planets that would have been much colder if they had existed for billions of
years.
9.In 1836 scientists found that the sun is burning off its diameter at the rate of 5 feet per hour. From
previous measurements and notes from the preceding 400 years they think this has been constant throughout its
history. (If this trend does not reverse our local star will not be there in 100,000 years). At this rate one million
years ago the sun would have been several times its present size and no life on earth could have survived the
intense heat….right in the middle of the ice age! Blood would have boiled. Just twenty million years ago the edge
of the sun would have touched the earth.
10.As per the second law of thermodynamics the strength of the earth’s magnetic field is decaying
exponentially. 1400 years ago the field was twice as strong as it is now. 2800 years ago it was four times, and so
on. Just 7000 years ago it must have been 32 times as strong as it is today. 10,000 years ago it would have had
the strength of a magnetic star. This is highly improbable and inconceivable to say the least. From Drudge:

Field Accelerates
According to the Drudge Report, July 12, 2004, the collapse of the earth’s magnetic field, which guards our planet from cosmic
radiation and solar bursts and is used by many migratory creatures and others for directional guidance, appears to have begun in
earnest about 150 years ago and is now speeding up.
Science reporter of the New York Times, Bill Broad, has filed a report which explores the fact that the magnetic field of the earth has
waned 10 to 15% thus far – and the deterioration has accelerated of late, increasing debate among scientists over whether it
portends a reversal of the lines of magnetic force that normally envelop the earth. Says Broad, “During a reversal the main field
weakens, almost vanishes, and then reappears with opposite polarity. Afterward, compass needles that normally point north would
point south, and during the thousands of years of transition much in the heavens and earth would go askew.’
Broad claims that “A reversal could knock out power grids, hurt astronauts and satellites, wien atmospheric ozone holes, send
polar auroras flashing to the equator and confuse birds, fish and migratory animals that rely on the steadiness of the magnetic field
as a navigation aid.”
11.Dr. Melvin Cook (former nobel prize winner) has shown that when uranium decays it gives off helium into the
atmosphere. This helium cannot escape the atmosphere. He points out that if the earth were 4.5 billion years old
that the atmosphere would be saturated with helium and it is not. The measured thin band that is present
suggests ~10,000 years of uranium decay. (He also shows strong evidence of errors in radiometric dating
techniques).
12.The average amount of children today per family is 3.6 worldwide. This translates to an annual growth in
population of 2%. It should be noted today that the population today is somewhat controlled due to various birth
control methods and significant deaths due to recent wars. Beginning just 4000 years ago with an average family
size of only 2.4 children (using an annual growth rate of only ½%). The present population could have been
achieved from just two parents. I think these are extremely conservative figures. According to ancient documents
some patriarchs had a range of 40 to 50 children. If evolution is correct, using the same conservative figures just
a million years ago- the present population would not fit into the present universe as we know it (radius of 5 billion
light years). If we have been here for the 7 million years as they suggest then a lot of people must have died.
Where are the bones and the cultural evidence of obsolete cities?
13.In primordial granite rocks, “tracks” or “halos” are found where polonium atoms have been. Uranium decays
to polonium….but polonium because of its extremely short half life (102 years) should not be found without its
parent element from which it recently decayed. However, polonium halos have been found without the uranium.
This reveals the creation of polonium, by itself, within the granite rocks. A “minor mystery” as one evolutionist
called it.
14.In every case of chemical influx into the ocean, evidence is found of a young earth age that is much less
than 4.5 billion years old. Assuming that there was not any chemicals present to begin with (doubtful), and that
the rate for transporting the chemicals by rivers has remained fairly constant, then the accumulations of the
following chemicals in the oceans suggests the following ages (keep in mind that if there were already chemicals
in the oceans the ages would be even shorter): Sodium-260,000,000 years; Magnesium-45,000,000 years;
Silicon-8000 years; Potassium-11,000,000 years; Copper-50,000 years; Gold-560,000 years; Silver-2,100,000
years; Mercury-42,000 years; Lead-2000 years; Tin-100,000 years; Nickel-18,000 years; and Uranium-500,000
years. What is significant is all of these are much less than billions of years old. Some elements are less than
1000. Aluminum is 200 years!
15.If Barry Setterfield of Australia confirms his theory that the speed of light has deteriorated or slowed
down over the years….then everything cosmological is out the window. Including radiometric dating. Except the
Bible, which predicts deterioration, and is therefore corroborated by it. Beginning in 1675, “c”(the speed of light)
was measured at 301,300+/-200kilometers per second, deteriorating (there are many measurements in between)
until 1960 where c tended to level off to 299,792k per second. Working this curve backwards we have c at
391,966 Km/sec. at 1 A.D, the curve predicts a value at the time of the Flood [accepted as 2,487 B.C.] of
1,621,908 Km/sec, Going back in time from the Flood the rise in the value of c is steep. At 3,540 B.C. the value
was 15,783,104 Km/sec. while, at the time of Adam it touched 360,146,768 Km/sec. Maybe more importantly in his
experiments he has found that the things we have measured time with…. have themselves changed with that time.
That is like measuring the heat expansion of an aluminum rod by using an aluminum tape measure that has been
heated exactly the same. Furthermore, many scientists today are seeing that mass not only has bent light, but is
also bending time.....depending on altitude. There is not enough space here to expand on this but it has been
shown that two clocks at different altitudes (Denver and sea level in England) have varied by milliseconds. Over
one mile this is not much, but over the mass of space, this could be significant.
Of course, with these figures you should know that there could be problems with them, also. But even though one
may find problems* in some of these theories as in the uniformitarian evolutionary ones, both should be
presented with equal force to students. Let’s at least be honest on the Christian side and see what comes out. But
for me, I trust the Bible.
*(For example, one problem with the decay of the speed of light theory is that the extensive decay is prevalent only when the extreme
+200ks error is used at the 1675 date. A problem with the population percentage is that when the population is truly figured it leaves
too short a population to be practical in the early years of earth…..leaving maybe only a thousand people around to have built the
pyramids.)
There is a couple of differences also which propagate the evolution claims. First, operational scientists are rarely
trained on theoretical and historical science. These scientist are like the mechanics who work on your car well and
know a lot about your transmission.....but don't know or care much about who designed the transmission, it's
history, or where it was made. Therefore, they rarely do original research about origins. Instead, they have just
learned to mimic what they have been taught in school.....and what they have been taught in school is the only
alternative since God has been removed by law. Furthermore, they are ostracized and squelched by the Big
Shots of the scientific community when they find something that points to God. They can forget about getting
grants. Theoretical Science itself is a religion. A world creation cannot be reproduced in a laboratory and must
always be believed on faith. Things happen that cannot be proven to have continued to happen. The very
measuring tools of age can be in question. What could be thought to be a measurably dripping faucet because of
a half full sink does not mean that the sink has not been emptied nor that the dripping water was not previously
cut off or increased in the past.
Although the Bible is not a scientific book, when it mentions scientific things it has been correct. So when the Bible
opens early on with “...the fountains of the great deep”, tell me how did the early writer know that fact without God
telling him......evolutionary scuba gear? Even if the Bible were written only a hundred years ago, the writer could
not have known this. Another mathematician considered the 13 steps of creation found in Genesis and figured
that Moses’ chances of guessing both the items and the order of creation without divine aid at 1 in
31,135,104,000,000,000,000,000! You think science discovered dinosaurs? Check out Job chapter 40:16ff and
Job 41:1.....probably the oldest book in the Bible. You think the water cycle was found by science 200 years ago?
Check out Ecclesiastes Chapter 1. You think scientists were right about the “four” winds? Again Ecclesiates 1.You
think science found out the earth was round? Expanding universe? Check out Isaiah 40:22. Was it Ptolemy who
was right when he laughed and said it was 1026 stars in the sky or the Bible when it said they are innumerable as
the sand in the sea Hebrews 11:12. Do you think that scientists looking for earth forming, life supporting water
throughout the universe is a new idea? Check out 2 Peter 3:5.....and while you are there check out how Peter
allows for catastrophism when he condemns uniformitarianism in the previous verse.
If Dawkins' God is science, you should know that Science doesn't care to risk your life either. Check out

- How many have died because of being placed in quarantines?
- Atomic Bomb; When the atom bomb was first tested, scientists didn’t know for sure if the fission would continue
or not. In other words, many of them thought that it might be possible for the explosion to continue, splitting even
the air molecules. They tested anyway.
- Mad Cow disease, When Mad Cow disease came to the United States in 2003, the Government said they had it
under control….not to worry. Even though they said it, six months later, they were still trying to track down the
original herd. Even today in 2007 Japan won't trade with us in beef because they believe we are not safe.
- During “The Great influenza” of 1918 so many lies were told by scientists as fact that it took a book to catalog
them under the same name. It is a good book to read.
- Check out Bad science in the courtroom (http://www.truthinjustice.org/junk.htm) where bad forensic science,
autopsies, and worry from malpractice suits have sent people to jail, to death row, and to their graves....and yet
even DNA cannot convict a celebrity like OJay.
- DDT is a poison spray that is used to kill mosquitoes. When I was a boy in the 1960’s DDT trucks ran the
streets of Florida almost every evening spraying for mosquitoes. We bought ice cream and played in those
streets. In the 1980’s the chemical was “thought” to be a toxic carcinogen because of a book a woman wrote who
had cancer ….and thus DDT was outlawed. Not proven. In fact, a forest ranger used to eat a table spoonful of the
stuff before crowds just to show how harmless it was. But it didn’t seem to matter. DDT was no longer sold. Now
people in Africa are dying from Malaria because there is nothing to control the mosquitoes. Not only that, but bed

- Remember the fake Alar scare with apples? An apple packing plant in my community closed down and many
jobs were lost partly because of that hoax. They got Meryl Streep, an actress and not a scientist, to testify before
congress to bolster their fraud. It turns out that Alar is a terrible carcinogen….about equal in parts per million to a
burnt piece of bread, a peanut butter sandwich, or a beer. You can decide how deadly it is. Where was the holier
than thou scientific community's rebuttal? What, no grants for rebuttals?
- The Army Tests: lsd has been tested on soldiers by the Army without the soldiers knowing it .
- Between 1932 -1972 the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) conducted an experiment on 399 black men. In the
name of science The Tuskeegee syphilis experiments were done. Doctors gave Black Men with venereal
disease placebos instead of antibiotics to see what the effect would be. The study was meant to discover how
syphilis affected blacks as opposed to whites. By the end of the experiment, 28 of the men had died directly of
syphilis, 100 were dead of related complications, 40 of their wives had been infected, and 19 of their children had
been born with congenital syphilis. Even President Clinton who never apologized for anything… publicly
apologized for it.
- Nuclear nonsense: In the name of science in 1975 the Air Force gave (Oh no, not Christianity!) Mahareshi's
Transcendental Meditation lessons to Nuclear Weapons Specialists. I know, because I was one of them.
Furthermore, many near nuclear disasters have been covered up by all of the nations. I have been involved in
those also. You can see one of which was accidentally jettisoned off the coast of Spain recovered in the movie
“Men of Honor”. And if Torquemada was the big Christian killer of the inquisition, then tell me what will the results
become of the Scientific decisions from A.Q Khan, who recently sold nuclear technologies to all of the terrorist
world and got away with it?
- In the 1950’s Army Biowarfare Scientists released swarms of mosquitoes over Savannah, Georgia, and a city
in Florida to see how well mosquitoes could vector, or carry diseases for future warfare purposes. Check out what
Russian science did with biowarfare in the last two decades in the book “Biopreparat” ....you won't believe it
either......all in the name of science.
- Ebola was being studied by the Army in Reston, Virginia, in order to make weapons without public knowledge.
The infected monkeys were kept in separate cages. The disease mutated and went airborne....going from cage to
cage. Employees were infected, but the only thing that saved their lives was that the mutated ebola also mutated
against killing humans. It killed the monkeys. It still made the employees dreadfully sick. But my point is that they
didn't know that the employees were not going to die or that the ebola was not going to spread outside the facility
until hours later. Was the public notified for their safety? No. The building was burned and formaldehyded... and
a day care center sits on the property today.... and don't have to worry.
And these authors like to make fun of the elderly Pat Robertsons, Jerry Falwell, and like colleagues when they
can catch them in a mistake, so let's cast the same microscope on a couple of scientists: The master logician Kurt
Godel became paranoid that unknown villains were trying to poison him and quit eating until he starved to death.
Quite illogical for a logician. Alan Turing, another logician who broke the German Enigma code and grand
fathered the logic for computers, was a homosexual, and committed suicide by eating an apple that he laced with
potassium cyanide. Also not logical, wouldn’t you say?

3.Intermediate fossils
4.Rainforest depletion (the rock star Sting’s wife was furious because she had sent huge sums of money to saving
the rainforest only to find out it was okay and she had been scammed)
Furthermore these guys are so biased that they will not debate with Creationists because they lose so often....and
so badly. In fact, they never debate specifically with Evangelicals over anything because they are theologically
“chicken” and they know they cannot win. Dittos for the media. Even when Barbara Walters decided to do a
program about heaven, she didn't ask evangelicals about it, or even consult the Bible with any vigor....she mostly
asked Buddhists who don't believe in it, liberal Biblical know nothings, and she quoted scores of opinions from
people who had never been there nor demonstrate any connection to it.
You never see D. James Kennedy, John MacArthur, Norman Geisling, or the guys from www.icr.org on the Larry
King show when the Sam Harris's of the world are there. No, they always get the most liberal know nothing believe
nothing fruitcakes like Bishop Spong and the “Jesus Seminar” who agrees with the most popular heresy that
provides the most camera time. The Jesus Seminarians vote on Bible verses they think are credible. Just as long
as they have a starched collar around their neck. The media produce tv shows about Nostradamus, Jean Dixon
and other 'seers' who when scrutinized ....were failures. But have you ever seen a tv show where they showed the
prophecies from the Bible and how each one came true? Not on your life. Not unless they can find a way to attack
them.
Yet evolution does not have one undisputed fact or intermediate ancestor that it can rely on. All they do is claim
they have thousands. They can't point to one cog or dat ....they only have cat and dog with variations within. Full
Reptiles with no intermediate ancestors. Full animals with no intermediate ancestors. Full fish with no intermediate
ancestors. Full humans with no intermediate ancestors. Only variations within. With 37,000 species within Brazil
alone, don't you think we should at least be able to witness one halfbreed if evolution truly existed? How many
times do we have to tell them that the gene pools do not mix and never have? When you breed a cat and dog, the
only offspring is the same cat and dog....only a little more hostile.
Not one intermediate species! What happened, did evolution stop? 'If'n we came from monkeys, why are there still
monkeys'.... is a perfectly legitimate question. When the 2005 Kansas City was trying to decide whether to teach
evolution or creation, or both in their schools, they invited many prominent evolutionists to debate. Including
Dawkins. Because they were scared they would lose the arguments as well as their grants, not one evolutionist
showed up! Instead, they sent a lawyer that got to ask the Creationists and neutral scientists questions... but
when the Creationists thought they could question the lawyer at the end....he refused to answer any questions

Evolution Hearings, and hear it for yourself for free! It is extremely enlightening....er,... conscience raising...and
you will find that the Scopes Monkey trial has truly been turned on its head!
Even unbelieving scientists like Hoyle, Crick, and Carl Sagan have said that the chances against evolution are too
remote for it to happen. Some unbelieving scientists have admitted evolution could only happen in maybe one
chance in 10 raised to the 57th power. Similar to the numbers of electrons in the discovered universe. Yet these
guys have bet their spiritual lives on it.

I could go on about, according to the atheists, how awful it is that we Christians are against homosexuality,
abortions, unbridled sex, drugs, and embryonic stem cell research. But Harris and Dawkins have convinced me
how these Christian practices have already, beyond a doubt, destroyed the world over the last 20 centuries. I
could go on about how we Christians still like slavery so much and are so disappointed since the atheists were
responsible for it's demise. I am also so happy about the fact that atheists have been so very responsible for

In fact, if you atheistic secular progressives were in a room where drunk men were cheering on a naked teenage
girl on drugs having an abortion on a stage, your philosophy has demonstrated that the only thing you would be
