When my wife Martha saw the little naked boy above who
could not walk upright because of a deformed and bloody
pelvis, we both were emotionally traumatized. Martha
gave him the only thing she had in her purse that he
could use; three packages of "crackers". He took them
and smiled and hobbled away, holding up his hand as if
to say thank you. A few minutes later his brother and for
some more, and we didn't have anything else....except the
biggest broken heart that I ever had.
