WHERE DO MY PERSONAL BELIEFS  ABOUT GOD LIE?

I am:                Agnostic                             Skeptic                                    Atheistic                                                Theist

All of the above groups can hold to various philosophies including those that are disprovable and also require religious faith to hold: Evolution,
objectivism, humanism, the sayings of Confucius, etc.

OR, are you:

Christian in name only:                    Truly Born Again:                              Evangelical:                                              Revolutionary:
No knowledge of God.
Exactly the same word as
ignorant.
Postpones decisions.
This mindset can be
dangerous in any
field. Luke 24:25
Claims there is no God.
(
It is an intellectual fallacy because
it is impossible to know this. For
example; You would have to be on
the dark side of the moon to know
this. You would have to be able to
split the moon open to know there
is no God there; and you would
have to be able to recognize a god
that decided to be in disguise.)
In
effect you would have to be
everywhere, be all powerful, and
know everything to know there was
no god. Then you would be god!
That's why Psalms 14:1 says "The
fool says in his heart there is no
God".
Allows for "something" supernatural
but cannot personally define it. Usually
this is used by atheists who realize
their intellectual fallacy. Sometimes
they hold philosophies and sciences
higher than God and cannot view the
two as compatible.
(Not even at the table.
Think they are saved but
are not)

They believe and say such
things as they are
Christians:
1. By virtue of birth,

2. By virtue of their family's
Christian standing,

3. That they have been
baptised,and

4. That everybody is one.

5. Attend Church at
holidays, funerals and
weddings.

6. Never read their Bibles
but leave it laid open to
Psalms on coffee table.

7. Pray only when they are
in trouble

8. Believe such things like
angels are with halos , Red
Satan has a pitchfork and is
a scary creature, believe
you go to heaven by being
a good person, believe
there are so many versions
of the Bible that they can't
all be right, that Christ was
a good teacher among
many.

9. They have never refused
anything they would
normally do (drugs, alcohol,
illegitimate sex, stealing,
lying, etc) for the love of
Christ.

10. Sometimes their
language reflects the flavor
of their heart.
(These are promised heaven
but still on the milk)

1. Has some personal
commitment to Christ.

2. Has made a public confession
that he is a sinner and accepted
Jesus Christ as Savior by calling
on him (prayer).

3. Believe in Jesus's physical
resurrection.

4. Should have no problem with
Baptism or the Lord's supper.

5. Has some understanding of
major themes of the Bible but
still a little confused. Needs
discipleship.

6. There is some change of
mind about wordly things. Bad
habits are beginning to shape
up.

7. Can still hold some to
philosophies that are not of
God. Maybe still believe in
horoscopes, confused about
evolution, etc.
(Promised heavenly rewards and
are eating the meat)

1. Responsibility to share my beliefs
as commanded. Initiates
conversations about God.

2. Satan not just symbolic but exists.

3. Knows salvation is possible only
through grace and not works.

4. Jesus led a sinless life

5. The Bible is completely accurate
in it's original autographs

6. God is all powerful, knowing and
perfect. He created the universe and
rules it today.

7. Absolute truth exists and is
defined by the Word of God.

8. By the Power of God He lives an
obvious Christian lifestyle. (But of
course everyone makes mistakes)

9. Regularly volunteers in God's
work.

10. Does not hold to philosophies
that are known to him to oppose the
Word of God.

11. Realizes how good it is to be a
Christian and have his life changed.
(Eating the Ice Cream of life!)

1. Reads the Bible regularly

2. Prays often

3. Clear sense of meaning and
purpose in life.

3. My relationship with God is my top
priority.

4. My main objective is to love God
with all my heart, mind , strength and
soul.

5. My faith has significantly
transformed my life

6. World changing, possibly called to
be martyrs

7. Can defend his faith and guide his
church

8. Might want to do missionary work.

9. Able to discern  between significant
and peripheral doctrine and does not
"lord it over" the weak.

10. Recognizes and attempts to use
his spiritual gift/s. Just can't stop
serving God....not because he has
to....but because he loves it!
Keep in mind that this page is not what is meant by judging. Judging is saying that a specific individual
deserves hell (or heaven). Only God knows the heart. Nevertheless, we are supposed to make decisions on
true and false doctrines that can lead one to hell (or heaven). I do not mention any specific names here. 2
Corinthians 13:5  " Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith: prove your own selves. Know ye not
your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you; except you be reprobates"?
