ARE CHRISTIANITY AND FREEMASONRY COMPATIBLE

"...every candidate has an  inherent right to understand the
reality of our rites, the meaning of our mysteries, the truth of our tenets,  and the significance of our
symbols."

THE FOUNDATION OF FREEMASONRY
What would you say was the origin of the interstate highway system? Was it just the idea of an expressway
in the mind of an architect? Or was it when the four lanes were actually paved and divided? Some might
say it really began when it was first traveled as a dirt road. Yet the technocrat might look still further for the
surveyors "iron pin found" or the first footprint on the trail. Like a road, Freemasonry's point of origin must
be defined before it can be determined.
If an acceptable definition for the origin of Freemasonry is simply an organized group following the same
path toward a goal, then I am convinced that the trail begins with that group of "Christian" crusaders,
including women and children, who were organized by Pope Urban II in 1096 to eventually storm and take
Jerusalem from the Egyptians in July of 1099. For the first time,  even though by their words and actions,
the true Christian character of these crusaders is very questionable, Christendom was taking the
offensive. In fact, I believe that Christians and Muslims ought to have at least as many crusades in order to
apologize to each other. Neither group exemplified the middle ages like "People of the Book". However,
these Knights of the Temple (Templars) seemed to take hold, and gave reasons for their secrecy and
existence from this date on. John J. Robinson, in his book
Born in Blood, has done a masterful piece of
detective work that has persuaded me (it is also recommended by Masonic sources) that masonic ritual
and tradition can be matched to this group. He shows how that an organized fraternal order existed behind
the English "Peasants Revolt" of 1381. There were several letters written on the day of the revolt with "this
be the tyme" urging the revolt, thousands were mustered overnight under a leader named Wat Tyler who
was before unknown, many were wearing identical capes that in those days were uncommon and took
days to fabricate, and other evidence given that speaks of organized Templars.
But at least prior to the eleventh century, a historian would be hard pressed to marshall any footprints of
Masonic names or similarities without using more speculative fancy than operative fact. Those who Masons
who proposed that Adam and Solomon  were Freemasons could just as easily be countered by a silly anti-
masonry parody modeled after Acts 23:12-21. Besides, Solomon was much too wise to join a fraternity that
didn't exist until 1099. Nevertheless, one of the early 18th century splinter groups trying to remain ancient
called themselves the "Antediluvian Masons". Can you believe it? Before the flood Masons? Rev. George
Oliver, one of the most popular masonic writers of the 19th century's tried to inform the world that "Moses
was a grand master, Joshua his deputy, and Aholiab and Bezaleel his wardens*". Some believe like rumors
today.
Studious Mormons who have realized that their Temple Ritual was taken from Freemasonry try to excuse it
by saying that Joseph Smith, as claimed by their Apostles, was only perfecting some ancient but

corrupted Masonic ritual.  The  only  problem is that there was not an ancient Masonic Ritual.
Scattered Masonic ethics night have been in the minds of all cultures at all times, but almost all of the
Hebrew Prophets and Christian Apostles have written statements that would have prevented them from
being members in, or supporting Freemasonry.
The many condemnations, Papal Bulls, and historical warfare between Freemasonry and Catholicism
through the centuries is common knowledge to anyone who is associated with either. The Knights Templar
were the proto-Masons who began by crusading for Rome. But because of increasing papal depravity and
a rival jealousy with the Knights of the Holy Saints John (Hospitalers/Knights of Malta), they evolved into a
Roman Catholic bashing fraternity. In return, the Popes, beginning with Clement V, alongside the King of
France retaliated with a deadly persecution that forced the Templars into the life and death secrecy of an
underground organization. This accounts for the needed development of their secret oaths and other
recognition signals.
Coerced by Rome, King Philip's ambush and capture of the main body of Templars on Friday the 13th,
1307 left a superstition about that "unlucky" day that still lingers. But the Templars were not entirely
innocent of the Pope's charges against them. Under torture, mass matching confessions of homosexuality,
direct idolatry against Christ, and general depravity were extracted at such an alarming speed that it
remains a mystery how it was accomplished. Even the satanic 'Baphomet' goat idol was found to have
originated with these Templars. It is not known whether 'Baphomet' is a degeneration of 'Mahomet'
(Mohammed), or whether it meant baptism in wisdom (metis), which would signify a gnostical character of
the Templars. "Whether the confessions were true is unknown but they were certainly believed by the
common folk." If the Templars were honorable, they sure admitted to the heresies in a hurry. Not like the
steadfast Christian martyrs of the first centuries. In any case, this action certainly purged any Christians
from the Templar ranks.
Their own, albeit noble grand master, Jacques De Molay was ultimately burned at the stake in 1314 for his
initial opposition of church and state. Upon being excommunicated by the so called and corrupt vicar of
Christ, and losing De Molay their confessor, the only place for the Templars to turn was to orthodoxy, or a
universal religion where the individual could worship any monotheistic God he could find. Note that these
occurrences were at least 60 years before the precepts of John Wycliffe. Bible access, and an organized
protestant reformation hadn't yet taken place. At this time, the Freemason fugitives essentially turned from
the "Unam Sanctum" of Roman Catholicism to universalism, especially in the French and German Lodges.
The English Lodges leaned toward protestantism, and I believe helped to air the reformation until they
were lobbied with pleas for universalism, occultism from the French, and more pantheism from Albert Pike
and colleagues. But consider this Christian statement from lodge writings of 1583:
"The mighte of the Father of Heaven and ye wysdome of ye glorious Soone through ye grace & ye
goodnes of ye holly ghoste, yt bee three psons & one God, be wh, vs at or beginning and give vs grace
so to govrne vs herein or lyving that wee maye come to his blisse that nevr shall have ending. AMEN." It's
too bad that good Christian doctrinal statements like this can't officially be found in the Lodge today.
But because of their anti-clerical postures up until 1900, Freemasons were not allowed to be church
members 185 years ago in many denominations.
One man told me that the only reason he joined the Freemasons was because they opposed Roman
Catholicism. Here is some surprising news for all that hold that opinion: Today, Rome is much closer to the
Protestant view than is Freemasonry!
Then, in the middle of 17th century, scientists and scholars such as Sir Christopher Wren endorsed the
still secret fraternity with their membership. That was a time when the Roman Catholic church persecuted
and suppressed any scientific ideas that appeared to contradict the Bible. True science does not
contradict true biblical interpretation. Both are factually converging lines of evidence that more and more
honest scientists are beginning to realize. But in that day it was fashionable for the high thinkers of
philosophy and science to thumb their nose at the Catholic church by throwing in with the "G" crowd,
whose anti-church street shingle was "Geometry"', denoting a favor of science over church. It was also a
time when England was "changing the guard" often; cutting the heads off of Catholics under one monarch,
and protestants under the next.
In 1666 the English government had to muster stone workers to rebuild London when a fire swept through
the city, destroying archives that might have definitively linked the so called "operative" Masonry with any
historical antecedents....if in fact there were any.  In the rush to attract these workers it was not required
that they join any guild. A great number of the Templars were skilled craftsmen. Many had much
experience in designing and building fortifications. Because they had gained their stonemason skills in the
East, they were superior workmen to the Europeans. It was from this period that the guise of a stone
working guild was extracted and devised for Freemasonry.
Also during this era a lampoon fraternity called the 'Brotherhood of the Trowel' began in 1512 and ended
in 1737. They were probably mocking an earlier and more established group called the 'Compass
Brothers' (1400-1790) whose badge was a compass and sector suspended from a crowned letter "C".
Some configuration of the Scottish Rite matches the symbolism in the 'Brotherhood of the Trowel'. What
better image and labels could the still secret Templars employ if they were to go public?
So the name was changed to protect the "innocent" and the Freemasonry road was paved and finally
exposed for public use at the Apple Tree tavern in London in 1717. From there, some say Anglican Dr.
James Anderson and others tried to shape the foundations of the "speculative" craft around Christianity,
hoping that they would "Do no heresies". His co-worker, Rev. John Theophilus Desaguliers, was a lecturer
on experimental philosophy and not an enthusiastic theologian. He published several books on philosophy
and science but only one sermon on repentance. Some pastor.
Besides, even if Anderson really had a Christian world view, many of his published statements did not
reflect a good understanding of it.

Although he was a trinitarian, he pushed for universalist ideas like a "Supreme Deity" while other Christians
specifically wanted to use "Trinity". He also conjured up tales about the existence of Old Testament
Freemasonry that were not entirely honest, and asked for a "Religion in which all men agree". So it was
Anderson who mostly compiled the thought and research material furnished by Desaguliers, the
experimental philosopher. In any case, Christian ideas didn't lodge with all of the lodges.
The French Freemasons, from whom the name was probably derived (Frere Macon- "Brother Mason"- Lat.
Maceria-"stone wall"), began suffering an invasion of mystic occultism to a degree that they didn't even
require a belief in a personal God. This mysticism sculpted the whole fraternity when occult Masonic
groups like the Order of the Elect Cohens (AKA- 'Rite of Elect Priests' who slandered the Hebrews), and
members such as the occultist Count Cagliostro visited and merged with the more Christian English
Masons.
Cagliostro (AKA Joseph Basalmo; 1743-1795) has been called 'King of Liars', 'Great Quack Face', and
'One of the greatest occult figures of all time'. He initiated his wife and other women into the fraternity; and
after receiving a mystical and magical manuscript from a certain George Gaston he devised an "Egyptian
Rite" for Freemasonry, He wandered all over Europe lecturing his ideas into the fraternity. Here is provided
at least one definite link to the Egyptian moon-sun rituals, Osiris similarities, all seeing eye, and phallus
orientation of the Lodge. Freemasonry has historically been a melting pot for occultism. Colin Wilson,
occult historian, rightly says that "...it became the home of occultists, alchemists, astrologers, and so on".
As the church has been to deacons, so has the lodge always been to occultists. Rocked and reeled by the
Anton Mesmers, Saint Martins, Johann Wolfgang Von Goethes, Emmanuel Swedenborgs, and others while
Christians have ignorantly been hoodwinked into membership; taking the back seat- away from the
steering wheel.
But so deteriorated became the quality of the French lodge, that they merely fixed a price for membership
without ever checking the candidate's character. In 1767 the King closed the French Grand Lodge to
prevent further trouble between rivaling degrees. It later developed that the American version of the
Freemasonry expressway took a wrong turn into pantheism when the bulldozer named Albert Pike got on,
with pen in hand, and began to blaze the Freemasonry road circa 1850. A turnPike, so to speak. The
Freemasonry road was forever divided into two lanes (called rites) that come together again at the 32nd
degree .
Some have the idea that Freemasonry was at one time witchcraft, druidism, or pure Satan worship.
Because it did not begin as such, and is not so now, I believe it would not be appropriate or defensible to
directly apply these labels to Freemasonry today. Christians need to use the proper terminology at the
proper times if they intend to maintain credibility. Even if underlying themes and symbols have obviously
been exchanged, it would not be proper to say that Masons bow down with the intention of worshipping at
these altars. Yet, occult symbolism remains unchallenged. For example, both Freemasonry (15th Deg. A.A.
Scottish Rite) and witchcraft have employed an identical mystical alphabet called 'Passing the River'. Just a
cursory comparison of most occult groups like the Rosicrucians (who have a "House for the Holy Ghost"),
and the "Order of the Golden Dawn" will show that they have had an acute effect on the molding of
Freemasonry-and vice versa. But for the Americans, it was Albert Pike, Albert Mackey, and their spiritual
contemporaries who actively tried, and moderately succeeded, in handcuffing a binding occultic link
between the fraternity and such progenitors. Pike thought Buddha was the first Mason- and yet tried to
incorporate a Masonic baptism. The modern instigator of Satanism, Aliester Crowley (b1875-1947d)
himself was a Mason. Known as "Master Therion", his own mother called him 'The Beast'. Worse than that,
he invisioned sex magick and eastern mysticism superimposed over Freemasonry and joined another
group called O.T.O.- Ordo Templi Orientis (Order of the Templars of the East) who are still in existence
and glorify the old Templar idol 'Baphomet'. Reaching back, the O.T.O. proudly identified in many points
with -you guessed it, The Knights Templar.
A further extension of the family tree was Crowley's disciple Jack Parsons (inventor of the JATO rocket
bottle), who took L.Ron Hubbard into the O.T.O. before Hubbard ran off with Parsons girlfriend. L.Ron
Hubbard is the founder of The Church of Scientology.
Freemason, your fraternity's foundation has been built on the sinking sand of an overwhelming occult
history that would read like the antithesis of Hebrews 11. This includes the modern A.E. Waite and Manley
Hall, bringing that same lineage of philosophy up to the present. But again, time would fail me to tell of
them all.
                                TODAY
Whatever was said and done in yesteryear, today, Freemasonry, the largest fraternity in the world,
assumes that men outside the lodge aren't good enough because they intend to take a good man and
make him better. As a matter of fact, by summarizing their own statements, they intend to make him good
enough for eternal life. The value of this claim is weak in the mortal realm and absolutely falsified when
applied toward the spiritual -as some do. Some Freemasons say that it is a continual "search" for light.
This contrasts sharply with the Christian who has already found it. Freemasonry differs spiritually from the
Lions Club, Elks, Moose, or the Boy Scouts in that these may recommend God but go no further.
Freemasonry tries to define him....falsely. Freemasonry goes on to require worship and belief in doctrine
that falsely describes God's requirements and attributes. It is a spiritual blender that samples the
smorgasbord of faiths, extends a fashionable but unbiblical "works" plan of salvation (as often as many
Christian churches advance the grace one); and slips the prospective candidate a new and universal God
that surely no one would dare argue with publicly. Freemasonry, as well as many other groups, fool the
masses into believing that it has united all in a common camp as Brotherhood of Man- Fatherhood of
Godists that is sometimes known and interchangeably called "children of God". It has been a phrase that
often the unqualified handily quote from the Bible (Gal.3:26). Unqualified because they have neglected the
rest of the verse where it concludes by providing the proper linkage "...by faith in Jesus Christ".
Only the religiously naive can believe that differing religions can be united. And even if that were possible,
the individuals within the group would still slug it out. Case in point: the Mason Napoleon fought against
The Masonic Duke of Wellington; Freemason Santa Ana fought against Freemason Sam Houston, and so
on. Even the ultra liberal Unitarian- Universalists have to exclude other doctrines that teach there is only
one, or a different way-*. They say at first that all faiths are true and acceptable and then later turn around
and say (when Christian doctrine is brought up) that Christianity is not. You cannot unite a Jehovah's
Witness who believes that Jesus was an Archangel with a Christian who knows that Jesus created all
Archangels (Jn.l:3). Likewise, you cannot spiritually unite a Buddha who did not believe in a monotheistic
god (he believed in a Nirvana, or blowing out into nothingness) with a thinking Jew. Or, just ask Pakistan
and India: you cannot unite a Muslim who's religion sometimes obligates him to sacrifice cows, to a Hindu
who believes that cows are sacred and to be protected. Yet this is precisely what Freemasonry has
attempted. Masons sometimes try the claim that Christianity is spiritually bigoted where Freemasonry
acceptance is not. They should realize that Freemasonry as well as all religions are really exclusive and
shut to various extents. Can a Mason and an anti-Mason be united? Masonry and atheists? Blacks?
Women? Maimed? Retarded? (they do not allow these people to join). If they accept
anyone then why do
they have to perform a character and financial background check?
I have found that Masons who are told that Freemasonry opposes Christianity attempt to resist the fact
that it applies to them personally because their own affiliation is stated to always be in the different and
"Christian" branch of the fraternity. It is true that there are two lateral forks that can be followed after the
common completion of the first three degrees within the "Blue Lodge". These two forks are called the
"Scottish Rite", which was choreographed by Stephen Morin in 1761 and rebuilt by Albert Pike in 1855;
and the "York Rite". To be fair, there are at least two orders of the York Rite that contain some Christian
symbolism, the "Order of Malta" and the "Order of the Temple". On the other hand, many non-Christian
philosophies are found, the 26th Deg. of the Scottish Rite is based on the Mystery Religions, and the 28th
Deg.,"'Knight of the Sun' and its doctrine is based on the Kabala, an occultic book written by unorthodox
Jews. The "Shrine" is found at the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite. The last and purely honorary degree
is the 33rd, given for longtime service and support.
Lodges are not autonomous. Different lodges may vary insignificantly in procedure just as some churches
do within the same denomination. But this does not give them leeway to dodge a mainline authority. Each
state's Grand Lodge communicates with and can authorize or shut down individual lodges for various non-
compliance. As long as any Lodge uses the Freemasonry name and follows through with rituals and
funding, ("nit picking" and semantic games not excepted) then they are still linked to, carry, and support
the same overall message and agenda as the main body. A car in the passing lane of the expressway
cannot deny that it is going in the same direction as the one in the right lane. It was not applied to
Freemasonry, but Paul illustrated the principle much better, "If the foot shall say, Because I am not the
hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?" (1 Cor.12:15).
Personally, I really feel that I have no axe to grind at all with Freemasonry except that it opposes, almost
subliminally, what the cross symbolizes. But every where I go, people are more concerned and ask more
questions about the religious status of Freemasonry than almost any other group. This seems to be true of
others who study comparative religions as well. I answer that it is a religion with secrets; that does not
teach grace nor who it belongs to. I would be opposed to any other group that did the same. My Father,
two Grandfathers, and many of my friends are Freemasons. At one time I became an Entered Apprentice
Mason whose religious convictions hadn't yet surfaced: so admittedly, my reasons for defecting from
Freemasonry were not born from Christian principles. Later, and by the sovereignty of God, I happened on
the book
The Deadly Deception at a Christian bookstore. The cover read "Freemasonry exposed...". I
really never lost sleep over it, but I momentarily wondered what I was missing by not being a part of the
higher degrees of Freemasonry. So I bought and read the book. To my surprise it condemned
Freemasonry from a Christian stance. I knew from experience that the book was correct about the Entered
Apprentice degree because I had been through it. I was a little shocked and yet intrigued. I bought other
books, videos, and tapes from separate authors of various faiths to see if they would collaborate the
heresies found in the other phases of the fraternity. I wish it were not so, but after filtering out some
speculation, every time I turned it over, I found that they did.
CONSTRUCT YOUR STANDARDS BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER THAN THIS PARAGRAPH:
Reports that primarily make statements are sometimes easy to forget. On the other hand, when questions,
even rhetorical, are asked, the reader has to develop answers that often stay put in the mind's storeroom
of recall- wherever that is. Therefore there will be many questions throughout this report. Questions like:
"What and whose evidence will I accept? What would constitute a heresy to me? To what degree? and;
How many times must a point be made or a verse cited, before I will be moved to take action?" These are
spiritual parameters that should be biblically set so that when the conditions are met you will agree and
hold to your formulated idea- no matter what. Keep in mind also that this report is meant to offend Masonry
and not Masons. Jerome said "If an offense comes out of Truth, better it is that the offense comes than
that the Truth be concealed." This may be hard to believe for those who read this, but I sincerely want to
be a friend to every Mason, regardless of their decision. But since I believe that Masonry does oppose
Christianity, and it appears to me that the Word of God agrees with my conclusion, then I would be remiss
in my duty as a Christian if I didn't admonish others, because most importantly, I want to see every one of
them advancing in the Kingdom of God. Masons should get to hear all sides and every opinion so that they
can make up their own minds. I am ashamed that the church, for the most part, does not support this idea
but helps Masonry administer their gag order.
Because it is a relatively short report (not quite a book), I have tried to get to the point fast, and have not
taken the luxury of "beating around the bush". Nor will I raise the same point more than once for every
occasion, unless it is conditionally necessary. By that I mean that although plans of salvation are offered
more than once (about forty times) in Freemasonry, I will only list one or two occurrences here. If the
reader needs more then he can find them elsewhere. If he chooses to deny the one, he will probably deny
any others.
I also hope that you can agree that the proper way to base your spiritual decisions is not on feelings, but
on an objective standard. Personal feelings that have been allowed to supersede the word of God have
always been the enemy of the fact of Christianity. Without relying on some sort of compass standard, a
person could feel like he has been going north all day and really be heading south. Therefore I will assume
that the spiritual "compass" standard that defines heretical teachings for you is the Bible. Since this report
is Intended for Bible believing Christians, Please get it out and read the cited verses as you go along,
otherwise the content here will have no rhyme or reason for you.
The end result of all of the parameter construction above is to help you formulate your own decisions, so
most importantly, when the questions are asked below, be honest when you answer yourself.

Is it  Possible  that  Masonic   teachings oppose the teachings of Christianity?
One man, not realizing the logical fallacy of circular reasoning said concerning Freemasonry, "You know
me, I wouldn't be in it if it wasn't right."

There is no disgrace in being wrong or defrauded by not having prior knowledge. Anyone with enough
plan and money can con someone else. The shame should only come when you know you have been
deceived and choose to repeat, or remain in the deception. However, if you feel that it is not possible to be
spiritually hoodwinked, then you are walking on dangerous ground. Examine some of the Biblical warnings:
Paul said at 2 Cor. 11:4 that there would be other Christs and other Gospels, and satirically questioned
the Corinthian discernment when he said they "...bear it beautifully". At Matthew 24:24, Jesus said that
there would be False Christs and Prophets who would almost deceive the church if it were possible.
Consider the "Beware of false Prophets..." at Mt.7:15, and you will know a false prophet "by his fruit". One
fruit of a false Prophet is that he will point you to other gods (see Deut. 13:2 & 18:20ff, and "FALSE
PROPHETS" below ) as Freemasonry does. God doesn't allow you to let it go, either. He commands you
not to be ignorant (Mt. 10:16), but to reason with Him (Is. 1:18), to love Him with your mind ( Mk. 12:30, Hos.
4:6) and to prove all spiritual things (1 Thes. 5:21, 1 Jn.4:l). Of course, if you have already decided that it
is impossible that you could ever be fooled then you might as well stop reading now, because overturning
judgmental error is what this article is all about.
No amount of confirmation, corroboration, credentials, documentation, testimony, validation, or verification
is going to open the closed mind. The evasive unbeliever will always, when nailed with the facts, chase
another philosophical soap bubble: "It could have been a Martian from outer space who did it!" He
redefines and creates new terms. He compares by pointing at other groups. If he can find flaws in Christian
churches and character, he will try to use them to lessen the severity of his own guilt or involvement. He
always comes up with one more question that has to be answered when he should just tune in to the words
of our Lord "What is that to thee? Follow thou Me." When credible evidenced is proffered, he attacks such
sources as teacher credentials and person with a barrage of logical fallacy- and sometimes, lies. He
searches high and low for the least minutiae of fact to support his view while neglecting the overwhelming
weight of other material. If he finds it, he will make his stand on the one against the many. Just as Jesus
taught at Mt. 23:24: He will swallow the camel and strain out the gnat.
IS IT PROBABLE THAT MASONIC TEACHINGS OPPOSE THE TEACHINGS OF CHRISTIANITY?
Two other critical questions emerge: (1) Is Masonry a religion? If so, then (2) Is Masonry  the same as
Christianity? If Freemasonry is not the same as  Christianity,  as  I believe the facts will show, then it stands
condemned at Galatians 1:8-9.
(1) Is Freemasonry a religion ?
Would you say that a fraternity was not a religion just because their worship could either be programmed
or unprogrammed , with no rites or sacraments, no choir, collection, singing, creed, pulpit, or partaking of
the elements? That it is not a religion when each member is simply to be guided by his own inner light? If
you said no then you have just said that the Quakers (friends) are not a religion!
  • WEBSTERS NEW WORLD DICTIONARY OF THE AMERICAN LANGUAGE defines religion this way:
re-li-gion (ri lij'en) n. [< L. religio ] 1. Belief in or worship of God or gods. 2. a specific system of belief
or worship, etc. built around God, a code of ethics, a philosophy of life, etc.
                                                    *
  • "Every Masonic Lodge is a temple of religion, and its teachings are instructions in... the universal,
eternal, iaautable religion...." (Albert Pike in Morals and Dogmas of the Ancient and Accepted
    Scottish Site of Freemasonry,. Washington D.C., 1958, p. 213, 219).
  • "Freemasonry is undoubtedly religion; it has a dogma, it practices rites, though the religion is simple
and creedless?) and the dogma is mild . " C ( ? ) =mine} (Henry Wilson Coil in Coils Masonic
Encyclopedia . p. 158, 1961, New York, Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supply)
Other Masonic fathers  such  as A.   Mackey,   C.   Caudy,   J.F.   Newton and A.  Roberts,  have  agreed
in their   books   that   Masonry   fits   the definition of a religion.
                                                                ***
ANSWER: Yes.  Some   Masons    will argue   that   Freemasonry   is   not   a
religion, and others  are confused by circulating Masonic repetition that it is  not. Despite the pseudo
paradox, there is no question from any dictionary definition or analysis from honest scholarship, including
reputable Masonic authorities, that Freemasonry is a religion.  In   1903   it was   confirmed   to   be   so
in   a  New  York  court.
Some also argue that Freemasonry is a religious fraternity/ organization/ institution but is not a religion.
How do they differentiate? That would be like saying it is a beautiful organization without beauty.
COROLLARY: Even if it is not a religion, how could a Christian go along with some of the following
blasphemous tenets discussed below?  If Masonry does not require a belief in God then why do they ask
the Entered apprentice "...in whom do you place your trust?" The required answer before being allowed to
proceed is "God".

(2) Does the Religion of Freemasonry differ from Christianity?
WEBSTER'S NEW WORLD DICTIONARY
OF THE AMERICAN LANGUAGE
defines Christianity this way:
Chris-ti-an-i-ty (kris che an e te) n. l. Christians collectively 2. the Christian religion 3. the state of being a
Christian.
                                                     **
and Christian is defined:
Chris-tian (kris chen) n. a believer in Jesus as the Christ, or the religion based on the teachings of Jesus -
adj. 1. of Jesus Christ 2. of or professing the religion based on His teachings
                                                    **
(1 Jn. 4:2-3) But really, this should be obvious: if Freemasonry was a Christian religion then thinking
Moslems and Jews could not be members. But let's go further and see what a couple of Masonic scholars
would say. Then, not just taking their word for it, we'll prove it by looking at two of the major aspects of
Christianity: Theology and soteriology.
  •      "Freemasonry is  not     Christianity, ... It     admits  men   of   every creed   within   its
hospitable   bosom, . . .   there   is  nothing   in  it to   offend   a  Jew."   (Albert   G.   Mackey,   An
Encyclopedia   of Freemasonry,   1915,   pp. 618-19)    (Mackey   has   a   listing   for 'Krishna'
    but   not   'Jesus'   or   'grace').
  • Freemasonry is no more  a Christian organization than it is Jewish or Mohammedan or Brahmin."
(Carl K. Caudy, An Introduction to Freemasonry, 1947 ed, p. 38-39)
What does Freemasonry think of God? (Mt. 16:15)
THEOLOGY; (to speak of God)
Freemasonry has always required a belief in God to back their oaths. They realized as fugitives from
church and state, that it was fruitless to jeopardize their own lives by asking a "stupid atheist" to swear a
sacred oath to a God that he didn't believe in. But did these "traveling men" come to define God in the
same way as the Christian God is defined? No, when Freemasons imagine a monotheistic God, they forget
to teach that he is also triune. They can never officially tell you that Jesus is also God and only Savior (1
Tim. 1:17). They cannot, do not, and will not "...honor the Son, even as they honor the Father", and the
scripture (Jn. 5:23) says that "He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father." And while they
suppose God to have omni attributes, they refute themselves by giving these qualities, along with his glory
(Is. 42:8), away to mortal men, impotent gods, and prophets by putting Jesus on the same plane as Moses,
Socrates, Buddha, Mohammed, and others. They either lower the divinity of Jesus or falsely raise the
temporal and human status of all others to His level.
Freemasonry attempts to define God initially as the G.A.O.T.U., which proves to be a universalist god
because he accepts Hindu's, Buddhist's, Muslim's, and others at his altar. But they never tell you that the
true Architect of the universe has a name, according to John 1:3 it is "Jesus". Coil says that men can
choose the Hebrew God Jahweh who is just a "...tribal God, with whom they can talk and argue and from
whom they can hide if necessary" or they can choose the G.A.O.T.U. who is "... undenominational ...( and)
so vastly removed from the speck called man, that he cannot be known, named, or approached."20 This is
not the God of Christianity, according to John 17:3, we are required to know God; he is named at Exodus 3:
14 and Matthew 1:21-23, and we are told to approach him at Matthew 11:23 and John 7:37. As will be
seen, Freemasonry progressively assigns further false names and attributes to God as the candidate
continues. Among many, one of the most obnoxious and blasphemous names is given at the Royal Arch
degree as Jabulon (AKA J.B.O./ Jabulom, et al), the Masonic version of the secret name of God. Some who
seek a semantic escape route insist that Baal is just the Hebrew word for "lord". This almost works except
for the fact that it is their own Masonic books that boldly admit this to be a combination of (Ja) Jehovah,
(bul) "fro» the pagan Caananite god Baal", and (on) from the Egyptian Osiris legend (Jer.23:27). This
could be likened to making a combination name of Jesus, Satan, and Charles Manson. Freemasonry does
not even want this name to be uttered (I can see why) except under their secret conditions. But if this were
the name of God (it is not), keeping it silent is also contrary to Biblical teaching (cf. Fs. 145:21, 83:13, Is.
12:4, 1 Chron. 16:8, James 5:14, Philip. 2:10, Acts 2:21, Rom. 10:13). We should be reverently telling
everyone everything about our Lord.
Additionally, God told Moses that His name, which is not lost, is "I AM THAT I AM" (YAHWEH) at Exodus 3:
14. This is the same name that Jesus asserted at John 8:58, where, because the Jews knew he was
claiming equality with the Father, they proceeded to stone him (Jn. 10:30-33). Satan directs many cults
and occultists to misuse this name because it is the name of God22. It is also blasphemed in several
places in both the Scottish and York Rites. In the York (Royal Arch Degree) the High Priest says-
"Companion Captain of the Host, are you a Royal Arch Mason?" Captain- "I AM THAT I AM" : In the
Scottish (thirteenth degree); "Solomon Brother Inspector, what are you? Inspector- I AM THAT I AM." With
585,000 members in the Scottish Rite: that's a lot of blaspheming. Moreover, Adonai, Emmanuel, Jehovah
and other names of God are degraded to passwords for the Lodge. If these examples are not taking the
Lord's name in vain (Ex. 20:7), then what is? Even attributes of God are given to men, many of whom are
not even Christians. In the seventeenth degree of the Scottish Rite is found that the "All Puissant" is
permitted to open the seals of Revelation 5:1-5 that only God can open.
Does Freemasonry submit a "Plan of salvation"?

 SOTERIOLOGY:
Yes. Even though it goes by quickly, some Masons who need salvation, notice and accept Freemasonry's
"works" plan. It is implied in many places and submitted outright in others, two of them:
"In all ages the lamb has been deemed an emblem of innocence; he, therefore, who  wears the Lambskin
as a badge of Masonry is  continually  reminded  of that purity of life and conduct which  is  necessary to
obtain admittance to the Celestial Lodge above,  where   the Supreme Architect of the
Universe presides."
"the true Mason (is  one) who raises himself by degrees till he reaches heaven,..."
Is this different from Biblical teaching? Yes, Freemasonry's plan(s) of salvation relies on self-effort in the
flesh. Consider a few biblical statements on the subject of salvation: (Hab. 2:4 & Romans 1:17) ....The just
shall live by faith. (Romans 8:8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
For by grace are ye saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest
any man should boast. (John 5:28-29) Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the
works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work(singular) of God, that ye believe on
him who he hath sent. (Titus 3:5) Hot by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us,...(Romans 10:2ff)...(John 10:1)...
                                                 ****
Besides, if this Freemasonry salvation is truly salvation, then why isn't it preached to the world as
commanded at (Mt.28:19; Mk. 16:15, Acts 1:8), instead of keeping it locked up behind initiation rituals and
secret oaths?
                  OTHER   BIBLICAL   CONTRADICTIONS:
SATAN: Never mind that the real threat of hell is not mentioned to the lost lodgemembers, but look what is
said about Satan: "The true name of Satan, the Kabalists say, is that of Yahweh re versed... created for
good ... Lucifer the Light-Bearer!" (Albert Pike, Morals and Doeaa..., p.102/321). Here Pike, as well as
other major authors of Freemasonry like J.D.Buck, Manley Hall, Albert Mackey, and A.E. Waiteas, has
turned to the occult (Eastern mysticism and Jewish Kabalists) for spiritual information. This could be
overlooked if it were a bygone fluke of Freemasonry, but these sources have not been denounced and are
still referred to today. Some regular Masons may not condone this, but a large part of prominent Masonic
writers in the heirarchy have taken the baton from Pike and are authoring occultic and pantheistic
worldviews. This is an abomination to God and is strictly forbidden by him (Deut.13:10-12, Is.8:19-20).
Christ said that HE was the light of the world -not Lucifer (Jn.8:12). Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call
evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness...". Pike basically was teaching
his 'higher adepts' that God was divided into two parts; Adonai and Lucifer. Lucifer being the good portion
or "light bearer".
OATHS:(Lev.19:12) Many candidates, before taking any oath, are falsely told that it will not in any way
violate his worship of God or duty to c-ountry. I submit that in the total scope of Masonry, both postulates
are violated. Where oaths have been taken in the Bible, if one party does not keep his end, the other is
also relieved (1 Cor.7:15, Joshua 2:20, Gen. 24:8,41, 2 Chron.6:22-23). Masonic candidates succumb,
before having a chance to think about them, to the blind oaths. John the Baptist lost his head because, like
Masons, Herod took oaths about things which were hidden to him. Jesus himself said at Matthew 5:34 "But
I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his
footstool; neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Keither shalt thou swear by thy head,
because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay:
for whatsoever is more than these coaeth of evil". James echoed the same at James 5:12, and also Justin
Martyr (A.D.110-165), indicating that swearing oaths was not just a peculiar problem common to the era of
our Lord, but rather that the early church intended to carry on with the same teaching against taking such
gruesome death oaths. All Masons have violated this at the entered apprentice degree by swearing by
their own head and then asking God to help them keep the illegal oath:
"All this I most solemnly, sincerely promise and swear, with a firm  and  steadfast  resolution to
perform the same, without any mental reservation or secret evasion of mind whatever, binding
myself under  no less penalty than that of having my throat cut across, my tongue torn out by it's
roots, and my body buried  in the rough sands of the sea, at low water mark, where the tide ebbs
and flows twice in twenty-four hours, should  I  ever knowingly violate this my entered apprentice
obligation.  So  help me God, and keep me steadfast in the due performance of the same."
                                                                        *************
John Quincy Adams said these were "..horrid oaths and penalties of which a common cannibal would be
ashamed."
Simply put, Masons are required to disobey Jesus to become a member of the Lodge. These secret oaths
may also cause them to wiggle, if not lie on occasion. Bring up a conversation about Masonic oaths in a
public crowd: or ask if anyone has ever heard the word "Ma-ha(h) bone" (The secret symbol of
recognition) and listen to the responses. Some might even consider the preceding oaths to be
insignificant: but what Christian can, before the Qur'an, swear by the name of Allah, and acknowledge him
as "the God of our fathers" as every Shriner is required to do. Christians just  can't do that. Can you
imagine standing before the Lord Jesus on judgement day and explaining how you affirmed the god of
Khomeini and Saddam Hussein?
Suppose that in your ignorance you took an oath as a child to murder someone. Would it be wrong to
violate such an oath? Of course not.
The Word of God advises at Leviticus 5:4-10(NIV) "Or if a person thoughtlessly takes an oath to do
anything, whether good or evil- in any matter one might carelessly swear about- even though he is
unaware of it, in any case when he learns of it he will be guilty. When anyone is guilty in any of these ways,
he must confess in what way he has sinned and,...(offerings)...the priest shall make atonement for him for
his sin... and he will be forgiven".
Otherwise   Luke   6:46   might     apply  here;   "And   why  call   ye   me   Lord, Lord,   and   do   not   the
things   which   I   say?"
As   Christians   we     should     not   be   afraid   (Heb.l3:6),   and   we   should not help Masons keep their
secrets. Mason's, who are trying to rectify the situation, are continually expressing that their Lodge
proceedings grow increasingly boring with repetition. If the Lodge secrecy, the only lure they have, was
taken away; then the curious might inquire more at the door of the church. But the fleshly desire to know
something that others do not is undoubtedly appealing to some. Although few would admit it, some have
joined seeking socio-economic gain and/or political favors. Still others are trying to find another way (Jn.10:
15 to fulfill their spiritual vacuum. Actually, the only reason Freemasonry needs their secrecy at all is to
hide their childish, blasphemous, and occult rituals from the church- because nobody else would really
care. Freemasonry's secrets are not our secrets. And if we help keep them we submit to their bondage.
We should expose all of the precepts and secrets of groups that work against Christ (Eph, 5:11, Acts 5:
29). We have the constitutional right and biblical command to do so. And yet the church is silent about this
most far reaching (all the way into international pulpits) anti Christian religion that is right in our midst.
Sermons ought to be preached against Freemasonry just like they should be against any other sin. And
any interfaith or counter cult group worth it's salt should speak openly about it. Jesus warned that people
would attribute to him the names of Satan- For his disciples not to fear death threats- that secrets would
be revealed- and that he wanted his words to be preached aloud. Matthew 10:25-23.
BROTHERS IN DARKNESS: The ritual ready candidate, in an outer holding room, has just been
blindfolded and is announced to the lodge: "Mr. John Doe, who has long been in darkness, and now seeks
to be brought to light,..." Here Masons are talking about being brought to spiritual light- as other Masonic
writings explain. It is evident too, by the previous phrase "...who has long been in darkness" (which does
not picture a recently blindfolded man). Masons further teach that all outside the lodge are in darkness
and "profane" ao.
Vines Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words says that "profane" is "unhallowed...lacks all
relationship or affinity to Sod." How can a Mason believe his Christian brothers are in darkness when Jesus
said at John 8:12 "...I am the light of the world: he that followeth after me shall not walk in darkness, but
shall have the light of life."? And again at Mt. 5:14 "You are the Light of the world." The lodge might note
Luke 11:35 "Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness." Further, calling someone
"profane" or saying that he is ignorant of God is judging and is the same as calling him a "fool" according
to the Bible. Jesus called the scribes and Pharisees fools at Matthew 23:17. He was not challenging their
intellectual capacity but their spiritual blindness. It is further defined at Ps.53:l. Anyone who does not have
the authority or the ability to look into the mortal man's heart should not be judging his person by calling
him the equivalent of a fool (Mt.5:22).
                                                   **
UNEQUALLY     YOKED:      Freemasonry,        either        through        the     use   of   the
"blackball"   ceremony   or     by     calling   the   black   lodges   clandestine,   are excluding   black
Christians.   About   250,000   blacks,   including   Ex   Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young, have had to form and
attend their own Prince Hall Lodges since 1775. Yet Masonic oaths unequally yoke their regulars, about as
much as it possible to yoke, with unbelievers and pagans. The question: To whom had you rather be
yoked together with; a black Christian or a Masonic Moslem? puts the Mason in a mental and spiritual cul
de sac. The only way out, excepting procrastination or indifference, being to denounce Christianity or
Freemasonry. 2 Cor. 6:14-17 says "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?...
Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord..."
                                                      **
SECRET OATHS ALLOWING CRIMES/FORNICATION: "Further, that I will not have illegal carnal
intercourse with a Master Mason's wife, his mother, sister, or daughter knowing them to be such, nor suffer
the same to be done by others, if in my power to prevent." If Masonry teaches morality, why would this oath
not simply be "Not to have illegal intercourse"? As it stands, it strongly implies that illegal intercourse
outside of Masonry is acceptable.
                                                   **
OATH: "Further, that I will keep a worthy brother Master Mason's secrets inviolable, when communicated to
and received by me as such, murder and treason alone excepted." (At a later degree even murder and
treason are not excepted. This alone would violate allegiance to country). Either Mason's intend to abide
by these oaths or they do not. They just can't have it both ways. If they meant to keep the oaths then they
are breaking laws and treating good people unfairly. If they didn't mean to stay with it then they
blasphemously lied. The people that leave Freemasonry and deny the oath have been guilty once, it's
true. But those who remain have to continue either lying and/or perpetuating Masonic chicanery. And the
extent of the oath's obligation? "You must conceal all the crimes of your brother Masons...and should you
be summoned as a witness against a brother Mason be always sure to shield him...it may be perjury to do
this, it is true, but you're keeping your obligations"31.
I am aware of a case where a Freemason was covertly breaking the law and company rules, making sexual
overtures towards females in the office, and compromising and jeopardizing the integrity of the entire
workplace. A fellow Mason who was one of those being "lorded over" by him was hypothetically asked if he
would, as promised, keep the other Mason's secrets even if asked to reveal them in an official
investigation. Realizing the futile situation between his oath and the truth, he rightly said that he would
expose him. But for the wrong reasons. He said that he would reveal the sordid secrets, not for benevolent
reasons, but (he finally manufactured an escape from his oath) he said that the other Mason had
committed "treason" against him. Treason by definition can only be committed against a country. As
mentioned in the introduction, here is a prime example of one having to redefine his terms, when cornered
with an oath that has contradicted truth. This permitted him to escape with his heart from what his mind
knows is true. A couple of months later, a real inquiry came, and the man flopped back, sided with the
Masonic overlord, and denied that he had knowledge of any wrongdoing. How many Judges or lawyers
have illegally kept the opposing and sometimes guilty clientele secrets because they were lodge brothers?
What about in other situations like business deals, promotions, and divorce cases-with Eastern Stars?

PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HURT AND MURDERED: Most citizens of Batavia, New, York oppose Freemasonry to
this day. A thirty eight foot monument with the following inscription sums it up; "Sacred to the memory of
Wm. Morgan, a native of Virginia, a captain in the war of 1812, a respectable citizen of Batavia, and a
martyr to the freedom of writing, printing and speaking the truth. He was abducted from near this spot in
the year 1826, by Freemasons, and murdered for revealing the secrets of their order". Some try to escape
the issue by saying that the case wasn't actually proven in court. Technically that is true. But accurate
deathbed confessions to the murder were made by a Henry L. Valance and recorded in Charles Finneys
book,
The Character, Claims and Practical Workings of Freemasonry. Judge Whitney of the Belvedere
Lodge in Illinois allegedly "escaped assassination at the hands of Master Mason's". The Mormon founder
Joseph Smith, who "out Masoned Solomon himself" and incorporated the Masonic rituals and legends into
the Mormon church as if they were inspired, was shot by a band comprised of "brother" Mason's while he
was attempting to give the Grand Masonic hailing sign of distress: "Oh Lord, my God"... (is there no help
for a poor widows son?). The murder of Ellen Tate of Boone county, Illinois was tacitly approved by the
action of the Belvidere Lodge, of the Grand Lodge of Illinois." John Ankerberg had to get protection from
the Chattanooga police when he received numerous death threats for broadcasting programs against
Masonry. These are some incidents that are known. How many others have went undetected? What about
the times where people are just hurt? One testimony came from a layman that while he was speaking to a
church on Freemasonry: Freemasons were breaking the Pastors thumb for inviting him....and I personally
know that to be true.

MASONRY DENOUNCES AND ATTEMPTS TO NEGATE CHRISTIAN EXCLUSIVITY: The secret Masonic
"lions paw" handgrip does not work and will not pull you out of a grave. It is exclusive in that Jesus Christ is
the only one who beat death. But it is also wide open in that he has offered to take you with him. It only
depends on your acceptance of Him. If the Romans or the Jews could have produced his body, you can
believe they would have; and it would have been all over for Christianity. They could not. Therefore,
Christianity is truly exclusive, but that should not offend anyone once they know it to be fact. Gravity
exclusively only pulls in one direction: does that offend? Once you accept that fact, you can build your life
around it by not stepping off of cliffs. If someone else came along and dangerously began to teach your
friends that gravity pulls in many different directions, would it be supernatural bigotry to tell him the
exclusive truth? No, it would be your duty. If there is any other way to heaven: if there is another way -to
really pull your own self out of the grave; there are 1.5 billion Christians on earth today who would like to
hear the evidence of it. Is there anybody else who can save us besides the Living Christ? The dead
Mohammed? Buddha? Joseph Smith? Acts 4:12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no
other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved".
John Bourne 33rd Deg., and no less than Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council... of
Freemasonry of Canada indicates that the reason Christianity and Freemasonry are being deemed
incompatible is because of Christian.. "Bigotry. Freemasonry has been attacked (By the General Gynod of
the Church of England, 1935) because it is not exclusively Christian; in other words because of its
(Masonry's) universality, or because it is not in accordance with the precise beliefs of particular Christian
denominations. Ignorance... ". Bournes "precise beliefs" that we differ with Masonry on are really the
intrinsically cardinal ones that have been upheld by all the creeds of orthodox Christendom for the last
2000 years, and not just "particular" denominations as he alludes to. Even if some denominations
"overlook" Masonic membership, I would be interested to see evidence of any Christian religion that
Masonry would not truly conflict with doctrinally. Remember that it was Jesus who said he was "The Way,
and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father by through me" (Jn.l4:6) and "he who does not
enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber" ( J n
. 10:1 ) . Is Bourne or Freemasonry willing to call Christ a bigot?
Besides, here you have a group that excludes many that they consider lessers, requires more strict
adherence to it's codes and verbatim than does Christianity, tries to be super secret and concealed.....and
it is calling something else bigoted? Go figure.

AN ORGANIZATION WITH FALSE PROPHETS IN HIGH PLACES. In the book
Introduction to Freemasonry
by Carl H . Caudy (p.38) we find that a Mason can call upon any God: "In his private petitions a man may
petition God or Jehovah, Allah or Buddha, Mohammed or Jesus; he may call upon the God of Israel or the
First Great Cause. ...A hundred paths may wind upward around a mountain: at the top they meet."37
Because he ha^ defined the focal point of conclusion I would say that, with mountains, Caudy has a
remarkable grasp of the obvious. It's like saying that ail sentences end at the period. Falsely applying this
every day occurence to and against the spiritual truths taught by Jesus is lie and ridiculii. Caudy is a False
Prophet according to Deut. 13:1-3, (cf Jn.l7:3, 1 Cor. 8:4 -6) because he is pointing people to other gods.
The person who knows he is following a false prophet will get the same punishment as the false prophet
(Ez.14:10). Jeremiah says that he might subvert his whole household. Are you so sure of Masonry that you
would be willing to do that?
This thinking nullifies foreign missions also. If all religions lead to God, and all people: are already his
saved Children, then why send out foreign missionaries?
Oh Yes, we were discussing the Freemasonry road and not paths winding up a mountain. Religious and
other roads may cross, but they usually don't meet at their ends.

THE ILLEGAL MASONIC P2 (Propaganda Due) ORGANIZATION OVERTHREW THE ITALIAN
GOVERNMENT OF ARNALDO FORLANI IN 1981. The continuum of Freemasonry has always been a
mutual protection society of men who have challenged the sovereignty of church and state until
Protestantism became the official and finally safe religion of England around 1716. It was not based on a
"stone masons" guild as Masons have repeatedly been told. If repetition makes the truth then we are in big
trouble with the likes of the National Enquirer. Numerous records from the 17th century testify to the
admittance of non-operative and elite members who did not work with rock. An actual "stone masonry"
guild wa^ a cover story that surfaced when, two years later, Masonry could itself publicly violate its own
oaths and announce its existence. There was no such thing as a "stone masons" guild as English archives
will prove.3* Tliink about it, who were more likely to be on the run and needing secret assistance?
Fugitives from the menacing peril of church and state or stone workers with families who had to stay put
several years to finish their work on cathedrals?
                                         * * * *
Many times Templar and Masonic coups appeared justified against tyrants that tried to usurp the power of
God. But many times it was just to overthrow unwanted law and install a universalist religion. This is evident
by the German and French Lodge involvement with the nefarius Illurainati after 1776. "Its (the Illuminati)
aims included the destruction of all national governments, all established religions, private property, and
the family unit in order to bring about a one world government and one world religion where peace and
goodwill would reign over all men". One of the Illuminati's chief promulgators, Baron Adolf Von Knigge,
wanted Christianity to be removed in favor of a religion of "reason". President George Washington and
others recognised this threat and deflected the American Lodges from getting involved. This may be the
reason that Washington had the foresight not to take the Grand Master position over the U.S. lodges, but
rather, favored the split into individual state jurisdictions where a single person could not attain so much
secret power. We may never have known about the Illuminati conspiracy at all had it not been for the
sovereignty of God striking an Iliuminati courier dead by lightning and exposing the documents he was
carrying. Some, like the respected Scottish professor John Robison and A'obe Barruel, who were at first
writing separate from each other and yec drawing the same conclusions, were historically closer to the
facts than we are (circa 1797), and wrote that the Masonic involvement with the Illuminati afforded the extra
push that instigated the French Revolution. Romans 13 and 1 Pet. 2:12ff commands Christians to be
subject to Government authorities as was Christ (Mt. 22:21).
Masons sway the US government as well. From the figures I found, only 2 percent of the general populace
of 1959 was Masonic: yet the Masons had six Presidential cabinet members, five Supreme Court Justices,
29 of 49 Governors, and 139 of the 430 Congressmen influencing world affairs".

PRIESTHOOD. In Protestant Christianity, the New Testament Priesthood is only accessible to the individual
believer: the high and only intermediate Priest being Jesus Christ (1 Tim.2:5). So it should be
understandably shocking to most how a "Protestant Christian Mason" could initiate a non Christian into the
inviolable (Heb.7) Melchizedek priesthood of our Lord Jesus Christ. And how can witnessing Christians
tell the Mormons that their Melchizedek Priesthood is defunct (Jn.1:12) when our own churches contain
more Masonry ordained Melchizedek Priests than the Mormons have?
                                                  * * * *
PRAYER: Prayer in smaller Lodges are oft times offered in the name of Jesus. However, if this were to be
opposed by any non Christian, and reported to the Grand Lodge of the State, this practice would have to
be stopped or the Lodge would be closed. (Any Mason who does not believe this should consult the state
Lodge and see). In all of the prayers in Masonic print, not one is made directly to Jesus as per Acts 7:59,
or in Jesus' name. To whom are they praying when the Bible teaches that the true God will not even hear
prayer from those who do not worship him and do his will (Jn.9:31)? To a fictional universal Deity that
anyone can bow to. In many cases the prayer is closed with "so mote it be". I do not know the Masonic
origin of this term, but I do know it is ironically(?) the same phrase that is used to close prayer in Witchcraft
.  You cannot expect to just pray to some or any lord, do something good for him and think that you are in
the will of God. At Matthew 7:22-23 Jesus said that many would say Lord, Lord...and have done many
wonderful works...and he would say to them the most wretched words in the universe - depart, I never
knew you. I pray we can somehow shorten the number of people in that line.
How in the world can a Mason argue that Freemasonry allows for Christianity when Christ can't even be
officially discussed in the Lodge? How do they witness, reason, and contend for the faith in the very place
where such efforts might be needed the most? Surely by now any person can see that Freemasonry is so
far from Christianity that evangelicals can't even get a radar fix on it. Since, unmistakably, Freemasonry is
not the same as Christianity, it falls under the curse of Gal.1:8-9. Any other Gospels than what Paul
preached, and their promulgators are to be eternally accursed.....and  Paul never preached Freemasonry!

                         PHILOSOPHICAL ARGUMENTS:
1)
"Look at all of the good works Masons do". Doing good works is commendable but is NOT a
measure of correct theology (cf Mt. 7:22-23): Hindu's have hospitals, Satanist's perform compassionate
rituals for other Satanists, the Atlanta Witches and the Hells Angels run a Toys for Tots drive, and the
Mormon's have a welfare system second to none and build bridges for Africans. Every time I hear the
Freemasons being theologically challenged, someone brings up the Scottish Rite hospitals. Here is where
Masons like to be associated with the Shrine. (But they don't seem to know them when you bring up the
oaths and wild parties). That Masons (Shriners) support 19 orthopedic and 3 burn centers is truly an
honorable endeavor. But if they are implying that they are supporting or need to remain in Masonry just
because of these; then I would challenge them to come out of Masonry and send their Masonic dues and
contributions directly to the hospitals. You can be assured that the hospitals will accept it, and multiply their
good works far beyond what Masonic funding has allowed. Besides, what if the same Masonic works and
funds were channeled through your church? ...or other/ local hospitals? Who would get the credit? What if
the time spent in such meaningless rituals were spent on the Great Commission, as commanded? Do
Masons spend as much time memorizing Scripture and doing church work as they do in Freemasonry?
Which seems more important to them? When you see them on the street with Muslim fezez on their heads
and islamic symbols working for masonry......I wonder if they would ever get on the street collecting for the
Baptist Hospital holding a cross?
                                        * * *

2)
"Masonic  rituals  are  only   symbolic".  If that is true, and the rituals are not  absolutely
necessary,  then why don't they change or remove them? A Mason that  tries to get Freemasonry to
change from the blasphemy will run into a  final ultimatum from the Lodge that you can either have Jesus
or  Masonry.  Satanic author and High Priest of the Temple of Set  Michael  Aquino  says that the Satanic
Bible as a "polemic" is only symbolic, yet  look at the damage that book has done. When men  use
symbolism  to infer eternal and unchecked things that are not of this world then such symbolism should be
constrained. Wouldn't it be nice  if this so-called symbolism was just symbolically leading people away from
Christ? An acacia sprig is used during Masonic rituals including Hiramic legends and funeral ceremonies.
Albert Pike wanted to be cremated and buried between two acacias. In researching the meaning of the
acacia I found that idolized decorated trees came from pre-Christian ancients and was condemned at Jer.
10:3-4. I took a closer personal look at my feelings toward the Christmas tree. But since I have never
idolized, pretended, nor thought that the Christmas tree had any supernatural powers, I know that it is
lawful for me to use it as I please. It is expedient, for a time, to beautify our house. I was never told that it
symbolized immortality even though it was so thought of in the past. This knowledge does not affect my
view of the tree today. But because Evergreens kept their greenery all winter while the other trees
withered, they were thought to hold powerful supernatural spirits by the ancients. Spirits they thought they
could harness. Occultism. "Since earliest times evergreen trees have been worshipped as symbols of life,
fertility, sexual potency and reproduction, and were often brought into the house and set up as idols." But
the Acacia carries the supernatural represention of immortality to Freemasons. Further, according to
Mackeys Masonic Lexicon, p.l6, an "Acacian" is "A Mason who by living in strict accord with his obligations
is free from sin." Notice again that the text does not say "symbolically free from sin".

3)
"What about all of our forefathers who have held to this tradition? There are 3.4 million men in
15,770+ lodges in Freemasonry in America; another million in 11,100  lodges overseas; are you saying
that all of these people are  condemned"?  No, I am not, but neither can you say that  they,  no  matter
who they are, are saved. Hopefully and prayerfully they are.  But  no  one on earth can, thankfully, pass
any final judgement on  people  in  either direction. Although it does not excuse their depravity,  ancient
Masons  may have had somewhat of an excuse, at least  before men. They had no available Bible, were
illiterate, lived  in  totalitarian states, did not have access to communication media and resources with
which to check information, and were fugitives  that could trust no one. They were preached to, ambushed,
prosecuted,  persecuted, abandoned, and sought after by wicked, cruel, and deceptive men....including
their churches and governments. When you stand before the throne of God, which of these ailments can
you claim? Quite the contrary; have you set foot in a Christian bookstore lately and seen the  number of
books against Freemasonry? In fact, God has given  you abundant  resources  and warnings (such as this
very paper) and has  commanded  you  to check out consequential things like doctrine, as a Berean.    (1
Tim 4:13,16; Is.1:8; 1 Thes.5:21; 2 Tim.2:15). I really  don't  think  he wants you procrastinate about it
either.  Because  'time   is   a  wasting'    for    some who are being indoctrinated into  Freemasonry  when
today  should be their day for salvation.  All  Freemasons are sinners just as all people are (Rom. 3:23).
And we know that Christians who have truly made Jesus their Saviour are forever forgiven. But what does
knowing about, and continuing to participate in sin say about your Christianity (1 Jn.1:6)? Is it really there
to begin with? Running from known sin is the mark of a Christian. Running with known sin is a mark of the
unsaved. We cannot say that Guru John Hindu is deserving of and going to hell (that would be the kind of
judging that is condemned by the Bible). We don't know the final condition of his heart. But since we are
commanded to judge theology and doctrine (1 Jn.4:l), we can say that the "generic" anyone (and we don't
know who they are) who follows hindu doctrine to the end, will. Also, the bloodline, or quantity of people
who follow feelings and traditions is meaningless if those conditions cause them to differ with Christianity. I
have heard the statement "If it  (religion)  was good enough for Grandpa it is good enough for me". Is  it?
Unless you supernaturally know Grandpa's heart then you don't  really   know  what Grandpa believed....or
what he might have finally and privately asked forgiveness for believeing in. This is
exactly what Jesus condemned at Mark 7:13 (NIV) "Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that
you have handed down. And you do many things like that."

WHAT  THEOLOGIANS  AND  RELIGIONS  HAVE  SAID  ABOUT  FREEMASONRY  AND
SIMILAR CONCEPTS:

Although there are those who have espoused the Masonic belief such as Winston Churchill, Benedict
Arnold, Benjamin Franklin (who initiated Voltaire into Freemasonry), Eliphas Levi and his self claimed
reincarnation  -Aleister Crowley (Satanist/murderer/homosexual), and Honorary  brother  Ronald Reagan
who albeit a great president, condoned  astrology?

John Adams,  John Quincy Adams, James Madison, Millard Fillmore, Daniel Webster, John Hancock,
Charles Sumner, Billy Sunday, Harry A. Ironside, and many others condemn Freemasonry. Of late, some
Senators even questioned U.S. Circuit Judge David Sentelle's fitness to occupy a judicial position because
of his membership in Masonry . Why do you think they would do so? And what if every man promoted
Masonry and God condemned it? Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar (cf Rom.3:4). So I list the
fo
llowing, not as infallible sources, but as well respected interpreters of Biblical passages:
                                                   * * *
  • Tertullian (A.D.145-220); "But it is the mark of timidity, when someother man binds you in the name
of his gods, by the making of an oath, or by some other attestation, and you, for fear of discovery
(of being a Christian), remain quiet. For you equally, by remaining quiet, affirm their majesty, by
reason of such majesty, you will seem to be bound."

  • Dwight L. Moody declared "I do not see how any Christian, most of all a Christian minister, can go
into these secret lodges with unbelievers. They say they have more influence for good, but I say
they can have more influence for good by staying out of them, and reproving their evil deeds.
Abraham had more influence for good in Sodom, although out of it, than Lot had in it.... I would
rather have ten church members who ar separated from the world, than a thousand unseparated
members. Come out of the Lodge."
  • Charles G. Finney renounced the lodge and wrote The Character And Claims of Freemasonry, an
expose of the anti-christian orientation of the lodge.
  • John MacArthur; Among many unbridled statements courageously preached over national radio
(WMBW) against Freemasonry (cf "True Worship" tapes), this great expository preacher who
studies the Bible several hours a day, 6 days a week, for twenty two years writes, "Fraternal orders
and lodges that have secret rites and ceremonies have no part in the work of Christ's kingdom, no
matter how much they try to defend their religious purposes and standards. All spiritual and moral
truth that man needs to know and can know, God has already fully made known; and his desire is for
that truth to be proclaimed, not hidden. Christians are not elite defenders of man-made secrets but
bold proclaimers of God-given truth. Secrecy has no part in the gospel."
  • General Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, D.James Kennedy, Steve Brown, Dr. Walter
Martin (author of The Kingdom of the Cults said that "(Masonry is...} pagan gobbledegook" ) ,
Adrian Rogers, Charles Stanley, Robert Morey, Dave Hunt and untold others oppose the
    Lodge.

Catholicisms last (to my knowledge) statement is a 38 page United States Catholic bishops paper, April
19. 1985 "...one simply can't possibly hold Catholic and Masonic principles at the same time." Today,
Catholics are not allowed to approach communion if they are associated with Freemasonry.
Lutheran; "The Synod has declared itself firmly opposed to all societies, lodges, and organizations of an
unchristian or antichristian character." (You cannot even retain membership in a Lutheran church and be a
member of the lodge).
Assemblies of God (Art.VIII of bylaws}; "...we advise any (ministers) who may have identified themselves
with such orders to sever their connections therewith (2 Cor. 6:17). Furthermore, our ministers are
requested to use their good influence among our lay members to dissuade them from such fraternal
affiliations (1 Tim. 4:12; 2 Tim. 2:24-26)."
United Pentecostal Church International; "...the people of God shall have no connection whatever with
secret societies or any other organization or body wherein there is fellowship with unbelievers, bound by
an oath (James 5:12; 2 Cor.. 6 : 14-13)(1986 manual p.25)." Church of the Nazarene; "We insist that our
people abstain from membership in, or fellowship with, worldly, secret, or other oath-bound lodges and
fraternities, inasmuch as the spirit and tendency of these societies are contrary to the principles of our
holy religion."
Orthodox Presbyterian Church; "...Masonry is a religious institution and as such is definitely anti-
Christian ... membership in the Masonic fraternity is inconsistent with Christianity."
Mennonites; "We are opposed to membership in secret societies or lodges, because such membership
would involve an unequal yoke with unbelievers, and because these organizations employ hierarchical
titles, require oaths, stand for organized secrecy, and may offer salvation on grounds other than faith in
the Lord Jesus Christ."
British Methodist; Although Wesley did seem to favor Freemasonry at one point, the UMC was
undoubtedly surprised to hear their biblical British brothers declare "Our guidance to Methodist people is
that Methodists should not become Freemasons."
The Bible Baptist Fellowship; Missions director Dr. Carl Boonstra; "The churches that are associated
together, to my knowledge, are all anti-Freemasonry. We, as individual pastors and workers, have taken a
stand against it."
Eastern, and various other Orthodox condemn it and call Freemasonry a "false and anti-christian
system."
Quakers/ Brethren; Will not even take an oath in a court of law.(Incidentally, the Quakers have less ritual
and doctrine than do the Freemasons, and no one argues that they are a religion.);

and even the
Jehovah ' s Witnesses,  Mormons,  Baha'is, Hasidic Jews and many
others will not become members of the lodge because it opposes their religion in some fashion.

The above are very short excerpts from much longer condemnations. Many others were not listed. In
fairness, there is little opposition to, or investigation of Freemasonry from the United Methodist,
Episcopalian, or Southern Baptists of which Ankerberg estimates 75% of all religious Masons belong.
There are many SBC churches that are trying to take a stance against Freemasonry but are having a hard
time getting any definitive support. Much to my own chagrin, because I am a Southern Baptist, it has been
pointed out to me that a portion of the Royal Ambassador initiation ceremony for young men has "crept in
unawares" and is obviously patterned around the Lodge ceremony.  Wheaton college, Billy Grahams alma
mater, will not enroll a student who does not agree to abstain from the lodge. In the Atlanta area First
Baptist Church of Atlanta, First Baptist of Woodstock, and others will not ordain Masons.
Because of previous favoritism, British Police and civil service cannot be a Masons. Many countries, such
as Spain, Holland, Ital;y, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, and Russia have outlawed Freemasonry in some form
at one time or another.....and notably, under Protestant Governments!

LOCAL TESTIMONIES: (will be left anonymous)There is always some small ratio of good testimony for the
Lord: one local man quit wearing his Masonic ring and said "Jesus is not in the Lodge." But most are not. A
heartbreaking testimony from a local Minister came "If it was to do over again I wouldn't join, but as long as
I have been in it I guess I'll just stay."
Proving that some do use the Lodge as religion; one local man when we invited him to come to church said
to my partner Charlie, who was a Mason "You know what we've got down there (they were talking about the
lodge), that's all I need."   Another, when pressed with "If Freemasonry and the Bible Conflict, which would
you choose?" he revealed his alliance when he simply said "I will remain a Mason all of my life". Another
quote was given to me, although second hand by an honest Christian, who said that one man told him "If I
have to choose between Masonry and God, I'll give up God." These statements alone, coming from my
little town, should convince anyone, that Masonry is leading many people away from Jesus Christ and
eternal life with him.
"He who hath ears to hear, let him hear." How is Freemasonry seen from religions cult watching groups?
The word "cult" is not meant to assign immorality to individuals but simply denotes a counterfeit
Christianity. It becomes counterfeit by either denying major precepts of Christianity, or by illegally trying to
claim compatibility with it. For a religion to be compatible with Christianity, it must
be Christianity. Some cult
watching groups have a popular rule of thumb system for identifying cults. The memory aid consists of the
mathematical terms - add, subtract, multiply, and divide. You determine if the group: adds to (or changes)
the Word of God; subtracts from the person, nature, or work of the Trinity; multiplies works for salvation;
and divides the doctrines of God. Does Freemasonry fit these marks of a cult? Let's see;
                              + -*/    +-*/    +•-*/    +-*/    + -*/
Does Masonry add to or twist the word of God? Yes. Masonry is choking the word and becoming
unfruitful. When Masonry puts other religious books on the same spiritual plane as the Bible then, in effect,
they are adding to it. In many Lodges the Bible, known as lodge furniture, is read until Jesus is mentioned.
Then His name is carefully expunged so as not to offend anyone. In other places the name of Jesus is
removed officially. Dr. Albert Mackey, who almost went blind from writing such voluminous works as the
Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, History of Freeaaaoury. Lexicon of Freemasonry, and others, penned that
the charge to be read at the opening of the Lodge is :
"....ye also as living stones, be ye built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up sacrifices
acceptable to God..." (...The passages art-, taken, with slight but necessary modifications, from the second
chapter of the first epistle of Peter...), [preceding parenthesis are Dr. Mackey's}
If you will read 1 Peter 2:5 you will find that the "slight but necessary modifications" mentioned by Dr.
Mackey is the omission of "by Jesus Christ" at the end of the verse==. Of a truth, That Which Was Lost to
speculative masonry was the preeminence o£ Jesus Christ (Col.1:17-18). The very "Stone" has been
rejected by the very builders (1 Pet. 2:6-3). They seem to have lost some of the meaning of God to Hiram
Abiff also. The Lodge has Hiram as architect of the Temple but the Bible says at 1 Chron. 17:1-15, -28:19
that God was the designer. Has the Lodge esteemed itself to the position of perverting perfectly written
scripture by the hand of an infallible God? (2 Tim.3:16, Prov.30:5-6, Is.40:3, Mt.24:35 et al) Surely they
could have picked out some other way to satisfy a symbolic ritual rather than confusing the word of God.
Or could it possibly be that a multifarious puppet master is behind the scene, having a good laugh? I
wonder also if the movers and the shakers of Freemasonry needed to blaspheme Mohammed's name? Do
they also change and distort the Book of Mormon and the Vedas? Of course, Screwtape would say that
there is no need for that.
Does Masonry subtract from the  person, nature, or work of any part of the Holy Trinity?
Obvioulsy. The  person  of Jesus, according to the Lodge, is on the same plane as Buddha, Mohammed,
Zoroaster, Moses, etc. His unique nature is not eluded to as being God in the flesh. His work does not
provide the only way to heaven. The Holy Spirit as a person is rarely if ever mentioned. God the Father is
pictured as the G.A.O.T.U., a God to whom all religions can bow to. This is not the Triune God of
Christianity. Although the concept of the Trinity is fairly vague in most Christians mind, it is my opinion that
most Masons are more confused about the Trinity than is the average Christian. But I'd bet my Book of
Mormon they could tell you about Hiram Abiff.
                                                     * ** *
Does Masonry multiply works to gain eternal life? Along with the aforementioned works plan of
salvation many others can be found throughout Masonry.
Does Masonry change theology and wrongly divide the doctrines of God? Yes. See any of the
above text.

Every religious counter cult ministry that I have been able to determine stands against Freemasonry, even
though some, for different reasons, refrain from addressing it publicly. Just try and find one that holds to
Biblical teaching and who will support Freemasonry publicly.

How   is   Freemasonry   seen   from   the   secular   cult   watchers?
First of all, this is not really important to us if we are Christians. We don't even have to call it a cult.  All we
are supposed to do is search it for false doctrine and then stay away from it. But because false doctrine
also requires a juxtapose of certain tricks that are commomly used to cover up truths, we can also examine
those tricks. Would Masonry fit the requirements of a cult from the secular point of view? Again, this would
not be theologically important except that the Bible warns against those same traits. According to the "Cult
Awareness Network of old, (before it was taken over by Scientology!....the fox in the henhouse!) which was
comprised of all denominations (including atheists) and does not look at nor judge any religious doctrine,
the following are marks of a cult:
Mind/infomation control- (James 1:8, 4:8, Jn.18:20). Being a big mouth sometimes, I told several
Masons that I had a report that I was having printed up that I wanted them to read. The first print shop I
went to with this paper said they would not print it...of course...I found out....he was a Mason. The second
shop, directly across from a First Baptist Church, were told by a group of Masons who she said barged into
the print shop, that  if they printed this -the printers would eventually be evicted from their premises.....
which, I found, was leased to them by the Masonic lodge next door! Later the proprieter said she had lied
about the threat. Maybe she did, maybe she was coerced into the very denial. Nevertheless, they didn't
print the paper. But underneath the statement, a different but underlying truth emerged: because of a
previous evaluation of the Freemasonry image the print shop was afraid that the Masons really would do
something drastic. Like I said, in any case, they never did agree to print this paper. Sometimes others,
including Masons are afraid, too.
Christianity convinces, cults control. Masonic secrecy and penalties are clearly information control. Mind
control is evident throughout Freemasonry where the Mason is being told and led to believe two opposites
simultaneously. Simple Aristotlean logic will tell you that A cannot be non-A. Masons believe that Masonry
is not a religion when it is, that it does not contradict the Bible when it does, originated as stonemasons
when they didn't, that they teach temperance when they don't (how does a "blood oath" exude
temperance), that they cannot deal in alchohol sales but Shriners can drink it, etc. etc. Forced redefinition
of terms is also another form of mind control- profane doesn't really mean profane, religion doesn't really
mean religion when applied to Freemasonry...etc. Sometimes it goes further than mind control. As
mentioned above, sometimes people are killed, hurt, or removed from positions or pulpits.
Deception- (1 lira.4:7, Tit.1:14) Many candidates, before taking any oath, are falsely told that it will not in
any way violate his worship of God or duty to country. As illustrated above, Jesus is denied, and treason
can be kept a secret at a higher degree, (other deception is mentioned in other categories- e.g. see also
"Exploitation".)
Flamboyant Leadership- (1 Tim.6:15, Mt.10:24-26, Mk.9:35, Is.2:22) (This is also considered to be a
mark of a cult according to the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention; cf IFW Belief
Bulletin
Cult/Sect Overview) Many Freemasons like De Molay, George Washington (who rarely attended
the Lodge-less than a dozen times a decade), Andrew Jackson, Ben Franklin, and others had the ability to
rally a following around their celebrity status and prestige. Today, Masons like to hold up Norman Vincent
Peale's membership because of his widespread popularity. They should: his beliefs support the non
Christian, almost anything goes, self esteem, universalism, as their order subscribes to. Peale's own father
noticed that Norman was trying to merge opposing beliefs (Peale took it as a compliment). He endorses
occult books and concepts, and said that he didn't understand the New Age movement but if it was
positive, he was for it. He affirmed the Mormon prophet and even told Donahue that he found his peace of
mind in a Shinto shrine. As an aside, many Chrisytians subscribe to Peales "Guideposts" magazine not
knowing where it comes from. It has God and angel stories but never mentions rebirth or Jesus only
salvation.
Charisma is many times beneficial and common to leaders in many organizations. But charisma
combined with a deviant ego, greedy or power hungry personality, or perverse psyche becomes
dangerous to immature spiritual followers who should be looking to Jesus.
Another spiritual decrescendo for Freemasonry is found in the malfunctioned genius of Albert Pike: lawyer,
poet, fugitive from the U.S. government, KKK commander, and disobedient Confederate General who
became the most noted and quoted Masonic leader. He was also an esoteric evangelist, plagiarizer, and
eastern metaphysical dabbler. Helena Blavatsky, founder of the Theosophical Society, (a pantheist -
reincarnation cult), found a need to quote Pike for support while she was supposedly under the control of
the "Mahatmas" (spirits), while writing Isis Unveiled. Freemasonry so loved the idea of the syncretist
Theosophical Society that Annie Besant, second heiress of the Society, was initiated into the craft. But who
was Pike quoting and plagiarizing? No less than the most influencial occult magickian of the 19th century;
Eliphas Levi, called "The last of the Magi". Pike brought so much unique occult influence on the fraternity
that modern Masonry should really be called "Pikism". See (any Masonic/ Anti Masonic) text for a sampling
of his unique imagination and philosophies.
Alienation- (Mt.18:12-14, James 5:19-20, 1 John 2:9) This is the negative side of mind control where you
can quickly lose that genuine brotherly love if you do not fit the mold. In his popular book
Introduction to
Freemasonry
, p.36, Carl Caudy writes that "The contempt and detestation of his brethren, their denial of
the privileges of Freemasonry to the foresworn, are the only Masonic penalties ever inflicted." These
penalties are administered, as alluded to in the book
The Deadly Deception, which gives the testimony of
Jim Shaw who was shunned by Masonic "brothers" when he decided to leave the lodge. In addition, a
Pastor personally told me that after leaving the local  Lodge,  a  prominent Lodge "brother" has refused to
speak to him for years. Another Deacon and bank president told me that he would consider leaving the
lodge but he just couldn't break the heart of "Raymond ______ ", another elderly bank president who had
helped indoctrinate him into the lodge. Come to think of it, I wonder what is the percentage of masonic
bank presidents as compared to the average populace? In fact, would it be government discrimination if
there are a higher number of Masonic bureaucratic CEO's in Government supervisory positions? How
about it ACLU....could you check into something constructive like this every once in a while....when you are
not to busy bashing the Boy Scouts! Are Fremasons given special privilege in the workplace? And if you
say they are more qualified....
then prove it!

Just before my first local seminar exposing Freemasonry, the word must have goten around. Not a single
Mason attended. I was lied about, called a liar and told by one "Christian" Mason who I invited to come, "I
have already heard everything you have to say about Freemasonry"- a week before I even spoke. It was
said by another that I should have a "sock stuffed in my mouth". Does this mean that patriotic Freemasons
hold to the idea of freedom of speech all of the time, or as long as it does not affect them? I really cannot
understand this from Christians who are supposed to make sure that Jesus is first in their lives. Even if
someone told me that having four tires on my car was heretical I would hear him out - just in case. And if
the Bible plainly said not to have four tires then Christians sould be happy to go up the road on bicycles. It
was said by one Masonic clergyman and others that I would lose my credibility if I tried to expose
Freemasonry. So be it. I understand "credibility" as not determined by popular opinion, but as something
that should be lost only if the full facts of the truth are not reported. I mention all of this not because I feel
persecuted, (this beautiful face doesn't have the first bruise).... but I am just pointing out the M.O. of their
falsely so-called, brotherhood. Additionally, in a real brotherhood haven't we read somewhere how Jesus
would not further alienate the one, but would leave the ninety nine to go after him?
Most of them don't know that many Christians in their own churches are shocked that they don't realize the
clash between Christianity and Freemasonry, and have been encouraging me to expose it for their benefit.
As a matter of fact, when many studious Christians are told in my presence that so and so is a Mason, they
say something like "You're kidding. Doesn't He understand?"  I can't believe for the life of me how some of
them are Deacons and even Pastors.....you'll check into it at your church, won't you?

Exploitation- (Col.3:9, Mt.5:6&8) Masons are told, in effect, at the lower levels that they are in Masonic
enlightenment; only to be told later that they only thought they were, but that the true light would be given
at a later time. This is the "carrot on a stick" that keeps the Mason seeking new and higher enlightenment
positions which are all deceptively empty.....and typical of gnostism, new age medicine, and the occult. You
just don't have enough....but we do..... so come back for more, won't you? There is also the question of
Masonic funds that are given. According to an investigation that was reported in the Orlando Sentinel: less
than one third of Shriners fundraising goes to charity, the rest to their own sustenance and good times. the
Catholic Encyclopedia says that "....in all countries it is almost exclusively Masons and their families that
profit by Masonic fundraising. Masonic beneficence toward the "profane" world is little more than
figurative....".

Since Masonry wasn't actually born of stone workers, and with some of the dues in the higher echelons,
Freemasonry really is neither free nor masonry.

Totalitarian worldview- (Mt.6:13b, Phil.2:10-11) Among several domineering worldviews given to
Freemasonry, consider the content of the following quotation: "A letter a hundred years old in the British
Museum mentioned the plan: a global Luciferic initiation. Albert Pike, Grand Mason of the Lodge of the
Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Charleston, South Carolina had written a letter to Mazzini. The plan was to
tamper with world consciousness, to manipulate the finances to create a one-world order, to bring in a
series of Messiahs, to have three world wars, of which the third would disillusion humanity with both
atheistic humanism (communism) and Judeo-Christianity. (The letter was dated 15 August 1871, and until
recently was on display at the British Museum Library in London.) But there was more. By the Albert Pike
plan, the stage would be set for a world messiah and his Luciferic initiation to begin the dawn of the light of
Lucifer in the New Age. Again, Pike's proposal was one among many recurrent themes.

Not a fact but just a thought: One world government means the USA thorws out it's constitution and way
of life in favor of the United Nations rule. The first thing to go is the economy. Next is Christianity. After all,
we can't have an exclusive religion that preaches only one way....and doesn't politically allow for every
form of doctrine. That One world religion would have to be some syncretist religion that accepts any
doctrine....like Hinduism....or like Uniterian Universalism.....or like, hmm....like maybe,....hmmm
Freemasonry? Now I don't follow many conspiracy theories but neither do I rule out credible hypothesis
until there is reason to do so. Just for a moment think of what could be accomplished if you had two
political candidates sworn to secrecy and brotherhood to a concealed group. Now consider that this group
has an agenda like a one world government. Now consider that the group really doesn't care about your
countries policies or well being..... that they just want to get their ideology installed by running both horses.
Either way they win. Now what if this group has spurned off other groups wanting to accomplish the same
things. Now suppose such groups can even get away with breaking laws (like having human bones in their
lodge...which is against state law) because they are so secret and aloof from investigation. Suppose such
concealed backgrounds of these candidates cannot be investigated by the FBI...when it is normally
required for "top secret" clearances for say, Nuclear weapons experts. Suppose, suppose. Then you
should look at John Kerry and George Bush and the "Skull and Bones Society". And you should look at
Freemasonry. The  One world Government idea was publicly anounced by President Bush one, also a
member, but was found to be unpopular so he shut up about it. But it adds up because both Bush's were
quick to jump to war and stop the theocracy of Islam....the greatest enemy of a One World Government. Of
course we all want to stop Islam... but for different reasons.  And Bush two
has ignored our borders....
slowly allowing for a One World Government. And the European community has gone to a single currency.
Hmmm....It's just a thought. Besides...I want to give the Masons something they can discredit me with.

Now back to the facts. Albert Pike was also the Chief Justice of the Ku Klux Klan, whose ritualistic and
secret infrastructure parallels that of the circle ( greek- ' kuklos ') of the Freemasonry lodge, from which it
was spawned. But after becoming uneasy with their escapades, Freemasonry began to abandon even
their unofficial links with the KKK . Some of their lingering ideology still coincides (secrecy, no blacks, not
overtly fond of Catholics and Jews, etc.). The only time I was ever asked to enlist in the KKK was by a
member of the Masonic Lodge.
It has been theorized, and certainly makes sense, that Masonry is a favorite infiltration field for government
swaying Jesuits, and intelligence gathering KGB agents, and documented that it was used throughout
Europe to spread the Illuminati "poison of worldwide revolution" as well as communist doctrine including the
Communist Manifesto . It has proven its ability with the French one, and has landscaped the perfect
designing ground for future revolution, the most popular today being the guise of a one world government.
Even those not connected with Freemasonry envision concoctions of Masonic reign. John J. Robinson
thinks it would be nice if Freemasons would take over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and set up their
universal religion so that everyone else would stop fighting over it. Sounds so good, I could almost go for it
too if I weren't a Christian who knows better. (Mt .24: 15 )

Elitism- (Phil. 2:3) The Masonic teaching that everyone outside of the lodge is "profane" quickly makes
the case of Masonic elitism, and probably gnosticism. Although some are trying to remedy racist exclusion
in the lodge, attitudes like "I will walk out of any lodge which admits a damn nigger" still are harbored if not
promoted.
The Masonic Code 1954 (p. 440), a book tended to a member of my local lodge reads "308.
(311) Negro Lodges . -African or Negro Masonry in the United States is irregular and clandestine." The
Lodge requires members to be freeborn, with all their limbs, neither too young or old, and in practice
denies membership to the poor who can't afford the dues (James 2:1-10, Job 13:10), and is also sexist.
Mackey specifically cites most of the above as the 18th landmark. (Christians are equal-Gal. 3:28)
Freemasonry seeks the "worthy" for membership: as do all the mystery and occult religions. Christianity
embraces the "unworthy": those who need a savior. Ironically, every other religion's founder left codes of
conduct that even they could not live up to.
Additionally, The Brotherhood, by Stephen Knight, is a book that was written by a British newspaperman
who, hopefully unbiased, was neither Christian nor Mason. He ventured to settle the argument whether or
not Freemasonry opposed Christianity; and concluded that Masonry did, ipso facto, oppose the Cross. He
wrote another book Jack The Ripper: The Final Solution, theorizing from circumstantial evidence that the
bloody mutilations of Jack the Ripper was contrived and accomplished from Masonic lore. The same theme
was made into a movie called "Murder By Decree" (1978). Another question comes to mind, why would
there be anti-Masons at all, without reasons?

So how is Freemasonry seen by YOU?
Matthew 12:30  "He  that  is  not  with  me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth
abroad".
In the confines of this report I have submitted a capsule of what I believe the Lord requires of me (Eph. 5:
11, Is. 58:1, Jude 3). In the above texts, the terms have been defined, and the parameters have been set. I
do not expect to pull the columns from under the Masonic porch with a few keystrokes originally written on
a typewriter; many men have tried and failed since the inception of Freemasonry. But I know and talk to the
one who can. Indisputably, most honest Christians who are members of heretical groups do not know that
they are. But don't you think it is strange that knowledgeable and respectable evangelicals who have
studied the matter objectively from the outside, say that Freemasonry has met all the qualifications of a
cult -unless of course, they ARE a Freemason. Yesterday's Masonic appeal was protection from church
and state; today this is no longer needed so Masonry tenders to the prospective candidate the age old
enemy of Christianity - gnosis. It proffers a non existent "hidden wisdom" (1 Cor.1:25; James 1:5; 1 Cor.3:
18-20; Ps.24:15) and "enlightenment" that is exactly the same lure as the New Age/ occult movements.
The final statement of Masonic enlightenment in the 32 Deg. is given in the lecture, after being guided
through a Hindu chant (AUM)(Mt.6:7), as:
"Harmony, my dear brethren, haraony,is the true word and Royal Secret which makes possible the
    empire of true Masonic Brotherhood!"
There you have it. That's the enlightened end of the Masonic road. Now, there is no need to go any further.
Freemasonry is a huge farce that gradually became worse and worse (2 Tim.3:13) throughout its occult
history. It parallels the Rosicrucians in secrets and rituals, is almost as universal as the Unitarian-
Universalists, and thoroughly pagan in its Egyptian symbols and eastern theology. It is a combination of a
mind group that emphasizes human potential, and an east-west mix with potential towards a millenial type
group (Totalitarian futurists). It is such pagan gobbledygook that even its own historians cannot make
sense of it. there is no history of it that cannot be disputed, included this one. However, it's theological
heresies are easily shown.
If it makes good men better then why do Shriners, who go through the same Blue Lodge as everyone else,
graduate as willing participants who have acquired a reputation for funneling alcoholic drinks, and swear
oaths to Allah? As I read my Bible, it would be quite adpropos to one day find a certain ME'NE MENE
TE'KEL UPHAR'SIN instead of the "G" on a Lodge wall. Most importantly, it does not advance, but detracts
from the increase of the Kingdom of God. So an easy way to answer the original question 'Is it probable
that Masonry opposes Christianity?' is by asking 'how much of the evidence, besides good works, did not
oppose Christianity?' Finally, the eternally important assessment must be made by the reader:
                                               ********
Is it  ACTUAL  that   Masonic   teachings oppose the teachings of Christianity?
I say yes, it is obvious to those not blinded. This last part is between you and the Lord (1 Pet. l:13ff). Yet, If
you are a Christian then you are a member of the Grace Rite, your one and only "Worshipful Master" is
God (Mt.23:8-10); and the "Lambskin", with nail holes in it, should remind you of the lamb who died for
your sins and not some self induced "purity of conduct". You don't need an acacia twig for imortality when
you have the true and living Vine. And you "lions paw" will not pull anyone out of the grave....so quit with all
the pretending.
It is simply a matter of your willingness to repent. Some have to repent of alchoholism or imorality, some
from drugs, some from unbelief, and others from following false teachings. But all have to repent...which
just means change your mind about things. Change your mind to an about face toward the true and living
God and admit that you are wrong. To take the exit ramp and get off the toll road of Freemasonry when
you know you  have  been headed in the wrong direction. Go across the overpass, and get  on the road
back to spiritual recovery in Christ. The Way. The real Truth. And the right life. God is right  where You
originally left him. The person who is not willing to change his life for the better when confronted by the
word God....better have been, and remain right throughtout his entire life if he is going to get to heaven by
his own righteousness and works. No one is capable of that.

I would like to point out that there are only a few choices available to the thinking person:

    (1) It is possible to disregard the evidence because you believe the submitted information is
erroneous. In which case investigate for yourself. But I caution you not to believe all that zealous
Lodge members say. Not that Masons are intentonal liars, far from it. I believe that Masons want the
truth, and have a desire to be honest. But being deceived themselves, what would you expect? Do
you think a person of conscious could retain  membership  in  an  organization while at the same
time describing to you the  insufferable heresies of it?  A 1988 Gallup poll indicated that 10 percent
of evangelicals believe  astrology. Should we ask that ten percent if astrologyis biblical? Of course
not. I have found that people always attempt to defend what they believe....right or wrong. What are
you defending Christianity or Freemasonry? Have you ever spoke up with evidence to defend
    Christianity like you do Freemasonry?
    (2) It is possible, but highly unlikely, to change the lodge so that it does not oppose Christianity.
Masonry has the organizational structure to be a marvelous civic organization if it would either drop
all of the religious trappings or pick a single one-(hopefully the truth of Christianity). But as long as it
allows them in plurality: the non Christian precepts, binding oaths, and anti-Christian verbage should
be removed to allow for Christianity.... if Freemasonry is genuinely universal, and desires Christians
to be members. In other words, if you are a Christian, theological terms should either be removed
from it like a business, recommended but undefined like the Boy Scouts, or Christianized. And since
many of todays heresies originated from the prolific brain of Albert Pike anyway, why not renounce
them, and quit quoting him and his company. I don't anticipate this will ever happen. And, if it is truly
out of order for Freemasonry to denegrate any religion, then why don't those "Christian" lodges rise
up and call the occultic,   blasphemous,   and pantheistic lodges "Clandestine" for attacking  the
church instead of helping to sponsor them?  In  the  interest of honesty they should quit deceiving all
religions about some non bigoted acceptance and spiritual amalgamation.
    (3) You could deny  and  abandon   the   truth of Christianity (Mt.15:7-9,1 John 2:19). If the
heretical  parameters above were submitted without using Freemasonry terms, but instead were
applied to an imaginary subculture in a third world  setting,  no  one   would   argue:   the   group
would stand as unacceptable to  Christianity.   We   have   to take the same Biblical standards and
apply them  to our own traditions and lifestyles to test them. When you  truly  make  Jesus Christ the
unsurpassed Lord of your life then  it  should   be   the  same decision whether those sins and
parameters apply to sorcery, apple pie- or Freemasonry.
    (4) Or you can deny and abandon Freemasonry. (James 1:22,    Is.   52:11-12)I am personally
convinced that Masons should let there lodge know by letter why they are leaving. After departing,
comparable fellowship fraternity within the   Christian   church.    How about   a   "Truly Free and fez
stomping Ex Masons for Jesus"   ministry   who   sends   dues to the same hospitals, and counsels
    and educates others? (2 Cor. 6:17, 1 Jn. 2:15)?
    (5) Or one could disregard the whole matter out of procrastination or apathy with the popular art of
"non-thinking". Just as one can live in America and be a member of the Communist party, he can be
a Christian and be a member of Freemasonry. However, in both cases, it is futile Lo try to accept
    both contradictory philosophies simultaneously (James 4:8; 1 :8) .

As R.A Torrey said; "I do not believe it is possible for a man to be an intelligent Christian and an intelligent
Mason at the same time."  If he is right, which of those characteristics in you will you allow to be the inactive
and unthinking one?
                                                       * *

                  .
                                     (cf Ps.34: 14-22 for strength)
Would it be hard for you to leave Masonry? Probably. But the cross was hard , too.....yet Jesus didn't fail
you.

APPENDIX A
At the time of this original writing (about 1990),The Southern Baptist Interfaith Witness Department was
under a gag order, most likely originating from the Masonic members of the Home Mission Board.  In any
case, many wrote them, and all we got was a lukewarm end run in answers. Something like: "The HMB
voted for us not to deal with Freemasonry". (But they didn't have to
vote on dealing with the Jehovah's
Witnesses and other groups) or; "......it's not in the scope of the  SBC.... or I guess we will have to do some
looking into it". Believe me, they  had the opportunity to look into it.... I even sent them a rough draft of this
paper. At the time I had heard that they had a large file where people had written in, trying to get some
answers on Freemasonry.  Occassionally some from the board gave us the same answers as Masons:
"The Freemasons are not a religion. We can't find a single authority to cite" . Yet, they found an authority
to cite in Hinduism, Buddhism, Universalism, neo paganism, Witchcraft, etc. and published it. My own
denomination was letting me down it seemed...and like a cult...controlling the information! Dr. Gary Leazar
was in charge of this kind of study....he was the Interfaith Witness Director. The Grand Poopah of the SBC
cult busters no doubt.
Furthermore, I certainly had no axe to grind with individual Freemasons. My Dad and both of my
Grandfathers were masons and I love them very much. There was a time when I was asked to join the
Freemasons (you are supposed to ask them) and did...but I quit. But the reasons I did not continue on in
Freemasonry were not religious because I wasn't knowledgeable in my faith at that time. In no certain order
they were: (1) It grated me when I saw that it excluded Black people. (2) Even though many repeatedly
testified to the exalted state of Freemasonry and how it was "second only to salvation", I could not find any
real content or meaning in the portion I saw. Nor in the endless memorization. Frankly, to me at that time,
the whole thing was boring. If it truly was an enlightening and educational fraternity then where were the
high average of scholars? Did more than the average play musical instruments well? Where were the
analytical geometricians? Did they learn to be exceptional stonecutters? What is the special enlightenment
then? Masons seemed to be equally good people, but they did not impress me as being any better than,
or more knowledgeable than any other group. I was under the impression that some joined just to gain
favors from the politico-economic strata. (3) I was a supervisor and I did not promote a Mason who worked
for me because he was not qualified for the job. Word came that he intended to blackball me at the lodge
when the opportunity came. Had I wanted to continue in Freemasonry, I could have got around his
blackball attempt because he usually had to work during the initiation ceremonies. But I could not get over
that kind of attitude, and I decided not to brother up to it any further. He was the one who invited me to join
the KKK as well. It was not that I intended to oppose Freemasonry, but that I prefered to just ignore it as
something that would just take up my time. Then I grew in the Word of God and started studying false
teachings ....because I had a family member who was under seige from the Jehovah's Winesses. Like a
hired gun, from my in-depth studies I was invited to speak at different churches and radio stations about
cults. Many times I was asked to speak to families who were getting involved with cults. At the largest
indoor gathering in my county I was asked to speak a little about Satanism along with another guest...Dr.
Gary Leazar, the Interfaith Witness Director of the Southern Baptists. He had done wonderful writings on
other cults and I had asked him on two occasions what were his opinions on the Freemasons. He always
side stepped the answer...... but read on.....
Yet the people in my church had given me many compliments and thumbs ups when I exposed other
cults.... go get em Randy! But then I discovered that those same precepts that made a cult a cult was also
manifesting Freemasonry as a cult. Could it be? But I found Freemasonry really was against Christianity.
So I turned my guns against Freemasonry. I went on several of my friend Jerry Johnson's Christian radio
shows where we received call-ins from people complaining about Freemasonry. One woman said " I saw
my own husband give the secret handshake to the attorneys and Judge ...and the whole court changed it's
attitude towards him". At a church in Marietta I spoke about the Mormons and the subject of Freemasonry
came up. The people seemed more interested in Freemasonry than in Mormonism...so I talked about it at
some length.  I was told that the next night some Freemasons got into a push and shove with the Pastor
over my speaking and broke his thumb. Many in my own church, if not secretly despising me, certainly
changed their attitudes about me. All of a sudden I wasn't very popular. Next I went to the Southern Baptist
Convention as a delegate that year and made a resolution that they study Freemasonry and report back
the following year. My Pastor at the time, was one of the few on my side. After my seminar where not one
of the Masons attended, he called a meeting of all the Masons and deacons in the church to discuss the
matter. I brought 35 copies of the above report along with a suitcase of books in order to back up my
quotes. Guess what...not one Freemason would look at any of the material. One said boldly to the Pastor
"Edmund, the Blue Lodge in Blue ridge doesn't like what we are doing here", (concerning our anti-
Freemasonry). To his credit my Pastor said "I don't care what the Blue lodge wants.....we are preaching
Jesus Christ here, Raymond!". None of the Masonic deacons resigned from their church positions....or
Freemasonry. About that time we found that it just so happens that the minutes of that year of the
Southern Baptist Convention (1990 or 91....anyway, it was the year that President Bush spoke at it in
Atlanta) did not get printed. Conveniently vanished from the public eye. Every year the minutes are printed
and sent out to all participating churches. That was strange. Later, although the official statement was that
it was a broken press, I was told that it was because of my resolution.  Seems to me they could have
subcontracted the printing?  Anyway, about that time I go through a divorce, my friend loses all three of his
radio stations and my Pastor who supported me gets acute leukemia and goes comatose.....some
coincidence....(or not)! The whole county prays for my Pastor and he miraculously recovers. After his
recovery He resigns from our church saying " Some people don't like the way I'm running things around
here".  Obviously, I think it was the Freemasons. I was told  by a Mason that I had better not have a jury for
my divorce (meaning the Masons would hang me). Then I hear that Dr. Gary Leazar has spoken to a
group of Freemasons in collusion... warning them to show up at the next convention and vote against the
anti-masonry talks! A double agent! So the next year my daughter and I drive to the next Southern Baptist
convention in Indianpolis on a shoestring (we stopped the truck along the way so we could nap in the
floorboard)....just to see if they are going to report back as commanded. We were tired, alone, and
unprepared this time, but my daughter and I were going to go to the microphones and remake the
resolution if no one else did. Vice president Dan Quayle was there, speaking. (We have both conventions
on video, including my resolution, and might post it here someday).  But, thank God, we didn't have to fight
for a microphone....a Dr. Larry Holly was there from Texas and better prepared...loaded for bear. He had a
team on cellphones angling for the microphones to speak. When it was their turn they forced the
Convention to make a statement. Without quoting it here verbatim, it turned out to be a perfect statement
from my denomination, paraphrasing: that people should check it out....that some parts of Freemasonry is
good and some of it stands against God....that every Christian should check it against the word of God for
himself. Being a denomination that permits freedom within the boundaries of the Word of God I think it was
the perfect statement. It does all it should do. It warns Christians. I love the Southern Baptist again,
including the part where they had the moral fortitude to throw out the wolf in sheeps clothing and also
when they apologized for their part in slavery.
Then I hear how Dr. Leazar is "involuntarily" resigned by the SBC. I think it was for his collusion. Praise the
Lord. Then I sit behind him at Stone Mountain Baptist church and see his surprised face when he turns
around to greet me during the greeting session. Then I see the wolf is a big Mason afterall.... and is
spending his time trying to defend it. Trying to say the religion that isn't a religion shouldn't codify its
theology that it doesn't have! Check him out at his own site
http://www.srmason-sj.
org/council/journal/mar00/leazer.html   For these reasons, I just can't throw my support in with any church
who keeps Freemasons as pastors or in their governing bodies. I love the Freemasons dearly, many have
been wonderful friends and brothers..... but I just can't tolerate Freemasonry's anti Christian teachings.
For those churches who have them in , I see it as no different than having psychics or Universalist
Unitarians running the church.
